  1. Which is half the team, Luiz, Ozal, Lacazete, Xhaka, Tierney, Mustafi, Maitland Nils and Chambers, plus Aubameyang wants to leave. No small task.
  2. It is amazing that he has managed to negotiate a circa 20% drop in per game value when live football remains a premium product and crucial to broadcasters platforms.
  3. Terrible, why is this clown still head of SPFL, he isn't good at communicating and by the looks of that deal he hasn't got much business acumen.
  4. Yes i'd expect there will be a lot of players out of contract throughout the British leagues who will exit the full time game due to the current situation. I wonder if they will get any help from the PFA and PFAS and the fat cat Union bosses?
  5. Yes, it will be the same here. They do not give a shite about the fans, it's all to do with fulfilling their TV contracts and sponsorship. Despite the revenue from matchday becoming a smaller piece of the overall pie, football without the fans is pointless and they will see this when it's eerily quiet bot for the players and anyone watching on TV. I'm not bothered as i've cancelled my Sky and will probably do the same with BT. If i can't go watch, i'll nae bother.
  6. I know and i've realised i have made a massive error in not including one of my favs David Speedie Although signed for Chelsea, I'm not sure if DJ played a game as Kerry Dixon and Mr Speedie played up top in nearly every game i think.
  7. Good enough to beat you know who????
  8. There you go Compo....... Neil Sullivan - Chelsea John Harris - Chelsea Joe McLaughlin - Chelsea Steve Clarke - Chelsea Eddie McCreadie - Chelsea Ian Britton - Chelsea Craig Burley - Chelsea Pat Nevin - Chelsea Charlie Cooke - Chelsea Gordon Durie - Chelsea Hughie Gallagher - Chelsea Subs: John Spencer - Chelsea Doug Rougvie - Chelsea David Hay - Chelsea John McNicol - Chelsea George Graham - Chelsea
  9. Only one ex Chelsea player Compo, not good !
  10. Like the side as a few CFC included, but not sure Terry counts, otherwise he would have been a shoe-in for my team!!!
  11. Well, there's only so far I'd go and I did show restraint in not adding Drogba !!! Also had to make sure there were no Spurs or West Ham ;)
  12. I'm going with this XI to beat Gribz's Cech Desailly Van Dijk Vidic Hazard Makalele Keane Ronaldo Zola Henry Berkamp
  13. Agree, these individuals have no sense of shame and will keep on taking the money, just like Gordon Taylor of the PFA and owners such as Mike Ashley - this type of person would never fall on their sword or do the right thing and resign regardless of the shit storm around them.
  14. I'm not so sure if the fans of EFL clubs would mind. Some of the clubs themselves might, but it would all come down to £. I don't think it will happen and i'm sure some of our fans would be against it, but I know there is a lot of respect for Rangers south of the border (maybe not in Liverpool ) but elsewhere.
  15. I'd love to see us seriously consider applying to join the EFL or even threaten as it is so obvious now that rules are being made on the hoof and we without many friends and certainly influence. Let Celtic win an even weaker league each year without us - or they can fuck off and play in Ireland. I think it's time someone did a study on the impact of Blue Pound leaving the league (has this been done already?) Apologies but the events of the last week have just highlighted how wrong things are.
  16. Gordon Banks Jimmy Armfield Terry Cooper Billy Wright John Terry Bobby Moore Johnny Haynes Jimmy Greaves Bobby Charlton Paul Gascoigne Tom Finney Subs Alan Shearer Stanley Matthews Alan Ball Duncan Edwards Martin Peters David Seaman Roger Hunt
  17. It's no good, i tried but couldn't bring myself to do it. It's a nil return from Kent.
  18. From Chelsea only that I or my dad have seen play; Hughie Gallagher, George Graham, Ian Britton, David Hay (yes i know!), Pat Nevin, Eddie McCreadie, Gordon Durie, Joe McLaughlin, David Speedie, Steve Clarke, Craig Burley, John Spencer, Robert Fleck (biggest let down) Billy Gilmour (the future) and my dads favourite Charlie Cooke. Some hit and miss at club and country level, but i feel most would improve the current squad.
  19. Chelsea legend. 132 goals in 157 apps, 13 hat-tricks for Chelsea, scoring all four goals in a 4–3 win against Nottingham Forest in his last game giving him 41 goals in 40 league games.
  20. I think the latter, consistency, ratio and number of goals all together for me over a one season wonder.
