As a technical minded person, I fail to see why this hasn't been easily resolved.

Firstly, anyone with the correct knowledge could easily prove one way or another who's right or wrong here.

Not only would the original headers of the email contain information that can be tied in with server logs , mail server logs and or original email headers would prove both ways who's right and who's wrong.

I would point out screenshots of text means jack, and for what it's worth you can easily spoof an email address without hacking someone's server, however you cannot spoof the correct server IP within the email header.

 

Simples...

 

Just wasted about an hour of my life i'll never get back reading this thread, and would have closed it had Frankie not just replied before me.

So, i'll leave it with the offer of my services to both Mr Gates, and Club 1872 to get in touch if they would like an independent technical person to overview the emails and/or server logs.

If you can let me know how to do this blueflag I can do this tomorrow when I am back at work.

Well produce the email that says she knows who it is and is covering it up as that has become a generally accepted part of your narrative on RM - which I think is grossly misrepresenting someone who is trying to help.

As you know Christine personally and she's avoiding me, can you ask her permission got me to post her emails?

Christine can defend herself I'm sure but people are claiming she said she knew who "the culprit" was - I've spoken to her on a number of occasions and that's not what she said to me and said that it isn't what she said to others.

 

So the fact that this is part of BG's narrative leads me to question his motivations - I don't have any conclusive proof either way though

Barca, can I say straight off that I'm not aligned with any of the various and usual factions that seem to appear to spread discord every time "anything" that affects our club comes to the fore. I'm simply a Rangers supporter who makes my own mind up when it comes to parting with my hard earned cash. I've no axe to grind with anyone.

Yes, of course the answers to BG's questions should be known. My money is involved too so I want to know.

But having said that, and I apologise in advance to BG if this was not his intention, the contents of that screenshot appear to me to be the work of somebody seeking to discredit the whole operation. If I was the person receiving that Email I would be very suspicious of it. The manner in which it is put together, seeking clarification on miniscule minutiae speaks to me of a representative of some disaffected group who very much DO have an axe to grind. The mention of another forum does not surprise me in the least.

The whole Emails disappearing, etc thing is something I'll say nothing about simply because I don't have the facts at hand.

Yes, all those questions should be answered and I look forward to reading those answers soon. If they aren't answered then I'll be shouting too. But the manner of their asking suggests something rather than a guy interested in investing being at work.

I tend to believe you bluegates but the demanding apologies and resignations comes across very poorly imho.

I just feel after the accusations made, a private apology would be better.

C1872 has great potential, and I am sure given time the right people can and will take it forward. But, these things are just plain stupid to do - hence why I personally feel they would be better without the guilty party involved.

As I've stated, my post only went online after my initial email was ignored and Greg told me to resend it.

If I had an agenda or such, I would be posting up all communications I've had with two members of C1872.

Both of which have stopped replying to emails, of which there was IMO good communications initially.

I was satisfied with most responses and would not have taken it further.

C1872 could have dealt with this directly with me, and could have avoided them not making the first move and going online with their accusations.

I am happy to leave this here, and open the floor for someone in C1872 to email me to close this off.

Looking at the questions they have not been put together by a newbie want to join candidate. They have been put together by people who are organised to question the working party of club 1872 for whatever reason. That does not make the questions invalid but does question the motivations of the people asking the questions.

Those were questions that I had asked as things were appearing since the vote was coming together, and that Greg couldn't answer.

If Greg was able to - he answered a lot more than I asked in the email - then I wouldn't have needed to send the mail.

I can't disprove your thoughts or opinion Pete and nor can you prove them.

I can I only say I'm an average punter wanting a bit of honesty and transparency. That is all.

You are correct in what you are saying. I haven't paid in to a fan scheme.

The questions I collated were questions that had been asked over a period of time to Greg Marshall over a few threads on RM the preceding month or so.

I respect Greg highly for his attempts at fielding so many questions and how he handled the slanderous blog about him as well.

Not sure whether - since we are down on a rather personal & private level - the board is the right place to debate this.

Well over 1000 emails have been answered and queries dealt with. But there is a difficulty with yours.

Personal I think it may have been down to my opening statement regarding transparency... which is quite ironic

I'll come to the point BlueGates, I simply don't believe that you have no agenda.

 

I'm not a cheerleader for anyone and do recognise that there are issues that C1872 need to sort out but let's be reasonable and give them some time to do that instead of apparently pursuing scandal for the sake of it.

My engagement I had with Christine prior to her going silent was good and her soundbites made me believe she hoped for better and change. It was never going to be perfect from day one - and my emails to her stated I felt EVERYONE involved deserved a clean slate.

I still feel that is the case - but, their handling of my emails has muddied that.

As stated an apology from the person to me will see me sign up for C1872. I don't think I can be anymore fair than that.

I think we know the MO and it seems to be running alongside other strands with a similar MO (eg. blog from Rangers supporter that appeared on another forum that made unsubstantiated allegations).

 

Bluegates within 5 posts had attempted to discredit one of those in said blog who were pointed at.... and had made unreasonable (timescale) or sarcastic demands regards minutes from a meeting.

 

Now C1872 have to sort things out but they don't need or deserve 'dishonest' attempts at destabilisation.

I posted on here after a poster here made reference to me being discussed on this thread by Fury. I think it was fair that I defended myself.

If you see the timeline of events on RM, you will see I asked Greg Marshall why people were not getting replies to messages, this was 3 weeks after I had emailed. The screenshots are there for all to see - although a Mod has anonymised my details.

I have no agenda here, and I had promised that if this was sorted and C1872 had the guilty party apologise to me it would go a long way and I would join it as they would have dealt with the issue in the correct manner.

I can at least hold my head high in knowing I have acted appropriately and in a dignified manner. It is a shame others haven't.

Well if you want to go down that route, why is it that there is no trace of any of the e-mails coming in or anything being sent out? There would have been no problem answering his questions had they come in on 27th May. I was answering e-mails that day and I think I would have remembered that one.

You would not be apologising for something if it did not happen, you see, that's when it all became clear it was either you, or someone very close to you. Do the honourable thing Christine and admit it and resign, or out who it was. Either that, or I would suggest contacting the Police as someone has hacked your email system... Could that ever happen?
