  1. Still find it incredible how Dundee Utd spotted the kid Robertson 3 divisions down from them and we ignored him having been in the same division and actually played against him 4 times. Our fans were raving about the kid when we played them. Him and a few others from QP in fact.

Will never be in our first team ahead of Walkace for what 5-6 years? Can't buy every promising player if we have better already with years ahead of them. Had he been a right back however?

  2. Well said Andy.

Pandora's box is well and truly open. The GB/FAC can protest all they like, but they will be dragged into the 21st century kicking and screaming as will we. TBB is gone and won't be back.

Our lawmakers and enforcement agencies are slowly accumulating all the tools they deem that they need and will have no intention of giving them up.

Still looks like a sledgehammer, no an Abrams tank, to crack a walnut when you already have a perfectly effective nutcracker at hand.

  3. So Rangers only tenuous connection to that piece is whether it is "the" or "a". Outstanding stuff Hugh.

We are not being conned. We know what we are seeing is shite football in a shite league and lesser than what came before. But we are loyal and follow through thick and thin. (Damned f you do, damned if you don't).

No one is fooling us - dressing up league one as the top division and the Ramsden's as a Champions League equivalent. In the case of the leagues it would be no great ruse anyway. A shit league over a really shit league.

No one is being conned. We know what we are getting. That is why no one agrees with this piece and only those who revel in perennial misery could enjoy if agree with that piece.

  4. I don't see any reason to think that will be the case. We had a great performance in the cup v Motherwell (?) last season only for standards to drop in subsequent matches. I think that the players will continue to raise their game in cup matches, but don't see it happening on a regular basis in the league, although I hope I'm wrong.

The difference in attitude, mentality, motivation or whatever it was, was very apparent in that cup game. Unfortunately. And I expect that to continue.

  5. Considering a £10 donation gets you a copy of the DVD it's not too much to ask I don't think. We can't really complain we don't get seen in a good light, and when the first big opportunity comes along we make up every excuse under the sun not to back it or just plain ignore it.

You can bet your bottom dollar if it was the Dhims promoting themselves in a film they would be all over it like a rash.

Wasn't aware pledging a tenner gets you a copy if the DVD. Will do that next week most likely.

9 people have pledged like £700. Shit number if pledgers but a decent amount amongst so few.

What happens if they don't get to £7k?

  6. " I've spoken to the manager about it and told him that, if the opportunity arose for me to go and test myself at a big club or a higher level, then I'm ready to do that.

I'm happy here and won't force anything to get out. But I can't sit here and say I'll be a Killie player for the rest of my life. It's not in my hands. All I can do is perform well and see what happens in the summer.

I've already proved I can play at a big club, because you don't get any bigger than Rangers. I have the mentality to play at a higher level. "

  7. Would rather we walk the walk. Sick of hearing this and that.

A bizarre post given the content of the article.

As a professional footballer you will be contractually obliged to attend interviews. The mainstream media then pick up sound bites.

But it's not as if Jig gas said we'll win thus or that. He's talking in a "one game at a time mentality" if you look at what he says about Albion.

  8. In the end, isn't being celtc manager reason enough?

    :D

He certainly takes advantage of the "sectarianism" angle. Means he can be the biggest cunt in Scottish football since I've been following the game yet put everything down to anti-Irish bigotry and sweep all his awful behaviours under the carpet. He's a complete and utter-scumbag and just because some people may bigoted towards him doesn't change the fact he's a disgusting human being and as big a bigot as any who attack him.
