  1. What a disaster the coupon was yesterday!! I thought Charlton would have went to Reading and won.

I also had another treble on and not 1 of that 3 came up either!!

I'll have a wee bet on todays games aswell as the Gers Hertz match

Not bet on us for a few weeks now, bcz I feel like i'm jinxing us. :sigh:

  2. sorry mate, didn't know if it'd been brought up or not.

Do you really think he's that mince a defender though? compare him to what we've got at the back at the moment

Maybe not so much of it here to be fair, but keep reading threads on this elsewhere and it's doing my nut.

No need to complain of that here though, sorry.

Aye I do beleive he's mince. Better suited to SPL than most our CB's, but you have to remember his errors would be highlighted more playing for us. Also his lack of pace is appaling.

If we're to bring in a scottish type defender the only option atm imo is Russel Anderson. Though I imagine he hates us and Aberdeen would want silly money.

  3. would anyone fancy having him back? I was thinking about it, and yeah, he's 32 but he's still got a good 2 or 3 years in him. I just think we could do with someone with his strength and leadership at the back.

    what do other bears think?

    Jonny

Omg, this one won't die will it? Good captain and leader, mince defender.

  4. You want to run onto the field of play at a full Ibrox park, draped in a Palestinian flag, donning a T-Shirt with Ratzi the Hitler Jugend conscript, then proceed to hurl sectarian abuse at Rangers fans whilst being ejected from the ground, you deserve all you fecking well get.

I'll raise a glass to whoever sorts Sean the bigot out.

    Within reason I agree.

  5. Why should smokers get a room when all they'll do is drop ash and but-ends on the floor while browning the paint with their smoke? There is also the question of who has to clean it and whether that will affect their health.

If smokers were generally clean and considerate of others, maybe they would get more of a break.

Smokers kill us with their smoke, make our eyes water and smart, make us cough and feel ill, make us and our clothes smelly, burn our skin and clothes, dirty our clothes with their ash, ruin our meals with their smoke, make where-ever they go dirty, smelly and covered in ash and burns, and then they want sympathy when we try to protect people from the above?

    Hmm...

Maybe they need a room but it's hard to care. There would have to be many of them which costs quite a bit of money just for the space and then you have to consider the ventilation, the cleaning and the redecoration.

There's also the point that if you can't do without a cigarette for a couple of hours then you have an addiction - that means you are not smoking for pleasure, you are ruled by your cravings. Maybe then it's time to ask yourself if it's time to get back in control of your own body. You would advise an alcoholic to go to AA so why not do something similar for yourself. It would also not only benefit your health and longevity but would save you and your family a fortune.

It's funny how people feel so staunchly that it's their right to be addicted to something that does nothing but harm...

Excellent post on the topic mate. Wish I could type with a clear head about this, but smokers wind me up.

Final line somes it up for me.

Ps Lyngers He's insulting yet you're the one that wishes to punch him in the face and called him a wank?

  6. wait, if barry ferguson is an experienced player, and the experienced players aren't helping the youngsters, how can it be f.a to do with barry ferguson?

aye fair point, phrased that wrong.

What I meant was that I don't think Laudrup was singeling (sp) out Barry as you had suggested. As one of the senior members he does take some responsibility though.

  7. a dig at barry ferguson perhaps?

I think he's saying the experienced players aren't helping the ypoung guys liek Smith. They aren't being leaders on the field and making it easier for the young boys to integrate into the side. Infact if anything the reverse is happening as the older players aren't prforming, and this should not be the case.

Think it has f.a to do with Barry tbh.

  8. Don't want Pressley near our team or the national side. Good captain but crap footballer.

Would love anderson, probably the best CB in the SPL. Think it's a non-starter unfortunately as it would drive my flat mate mad. (He's a sheep)

  9. Hartley on the bench, but they finally start Brellier.

They fix one problem and create another.

Aye remember Aguiar complaining about Tall starting ahead of him and Brellier. Another odd one.

  10. Didn't think Arsenal where that impressive, but only because Liverpool were so bad Arsenal never had to get out of second gear.

and what where the defence up to at Gallas goal. It wasn't like he made a great run from deep, he just ambled into the middle of the six yard box for a free header.
