  1. Aye so we're all square now. And it was one dubious pen.
  2. Scott is Gordon Durie's son. John is Fleck's nephew I beleive. Cooper I dont think so. Ibeleive he's a Ross County player.
  3. Another good result: http://home.skysports.com/list.aspx?hlid=426551&CPID=219&clid=&lid=554&title=Young+Scots+impress+again 8 Bears in the starting line up this time.
  4. Best young player for a couple of seasons imo. Only man to have started every game this year I beleive. (At least if the stats on the teletext club pages are to be believed.)
  5. Do we not already play them 4 times a season? Sorry, had to be said.
  6. WOuld like to see a couple more at least second half.
  7. WOuld like to see a couple more at least second half.
  8. Gribz, dropping Boyd to the erserves will help him develop? And get donkey Sebo in? Still amazes me.
  9. Not at all mate. I can understand people's criticisms of Boyd's overall game, but those who want Sebo in the team no nothing about football imo. The guy is an absolute donkey and has done nothing to warrant a place in the team. He is a good athlete, fast, strong etc but is never a footballer. Boyd may "only score goals". But Sebo does nothing. Take the simple pass Hutton gave him out wide towards the end of the 'Well game. He tried to trap it but somehow let it roll straight out. I'm absolutely amazed anyone could want him in ahead of Boyd.
  10. I disagree. When four out of your last four games the biggest decisions go against you it can hardly be deemed "desperate" and that shows little sign of things being "even". That is consistently poor decisions going against us and costing us games. If it was one offs I would accept your point. But you canot be so blase about these things when its happening every single week. I would say it is extremely difficult to pick out as many of these big decisions going our way. The standard of refereeing is shocking and needs to be looked at. This is another example of our dignified silence not working. In the St. Mirren game when they benefitted from the most scandalous penalty in living memory, GM pointed out the "soft" free kick for Adam's goal. Nothing is mentioned in the press re the pen. All attention foucses on GM's comments. This is ridiculous.
  11. I hate this shite going on on all the mb's atm that we "shouldn't need the ref's help" to beat lesser teams. It seems by most people's reckoning if the opposition just chopped our players every time we got the ball and the ref gave nothing and we didn't win a game then we get what we deserve. Bullshit. Its not the ref's "help". He is there to enforce the rules of the game, it's his job. In many of the penalty incidents where we have not had the award, if the oppostion player had not comitted the offence we may have scored. That is why a penalty should be awarded. This is getting on my nerves. In our last four games we have had: 3 possible pens, at least one stone wall, not given v ICT. A baffling penalty gifted to Livorno. A baffling penalty given to St. Mirren. A stone waller not given v 'Well. That has cost us 3-5 points in the league over just the last few games. you could go further back to Killie for example costing us another two. No I'm not saying it is purely down to poor refereeing. But how can you say it even's out over the season when we are dropping points to scandalous decisions week in week out. The ref's of this country are a shambles. It has to be the easiest job in the world. It doesn't matter how bad you are or maybe how much you cheat you have job security and the backing of your bosses.
  12. Do you actually beleive this? That means we're due at least 3 soft penalties to pick us up points in 3 games and have other teams denied about 4 or 5 stone wallers. I'm not a beleiver of this any more.
  13. Why do the Scottish boys always get it first? Buffel was surely the most anonymous player today.
  14. That would maybe a be a valid point if the guy was the best keeper in the world, or even a good one. Thing is I'd be suprised if he's even the fouth best at the clud. How's that Robinson kid in goal.
  15. And I was beginning to think no other bear had seen this. He is playing no better than Hutton so it makes no sense playing him as Hutton is here longer term.
  16. No better than Hutton imo. And therefore a bad signing because he's only here short term at the expense of Hutton's development. As a couple have stated just because he is a Man U reserve it does not make him a great player. No chance he'll take over from Neville the way he's playing atm.
  17. Said the same thing on the way home. Means the defence have to have a perfect game on Thursday.
  18. I'm sorry but I disagree. Back Rangers 1-11 at the game but afterwards I want it made clear that many of our support want this fud dropped. How many points has he cost us already in only a handful of games? Smacks of Eck and Porno Ron.
  19. I didn't boo, neither did I chant Allan McGregor. But I came very close to the latter and that is something I would normally do as a mark of disrespect another keeper, so it shows just how bad this donkey is. A lad I know says he was booing, but to show his displeasure at the decision not the player. I agree with the sentiment but obviously people cannot distinguish between them so it is not a great idea. I couldn't bring myself to cheer letitzi after this either. I know he personally needed a confidence boost. But the club need him out of the team and that is more improtant to me, so I don't want Plg thinking he has our backing on this decision. Letitzi GTF.
  20. Will the guys who were pro Letizi coming back admit they were wrong. Another blunder sold a goal today. I sit right inline with the post and firstly he did not need to make a save as it was going wide. Secondly as I assume he was unsure if it was going wide (more poor keeping as he should know where his goal is) and decided to make the save he should have pushed it away from the goal and not tamely pushed it to the feet of a striker. And dont start with the "bad attitude nonsense". If he's the best keeper currentl available at the club who isn't getting a fair crack of the whip then he is well within his rights to ask for a move to a club where he can get a regular game. As a true professional he should be looking for a regular game and not just be happy to pick up a pay cheque for warming the bench. IMO he has every right to make this known. Allan McGregor!
  21. Don't think there is anything wrong with his attitude tbh. He's a good player who wanted regular football and will move away to secure that. Deserved to keep his place.
  22. 2 up, Boyd and McFadden. Drop Miller, couldn't score in the proverbial barrel. If the only mark against Boyd is that he doesn't run around enough like a headless chicken, well thats what McFadden and the midfield are for, Boyd is there to do what he does best.... score. Goals win games.
  23. I still feel in a two horse race, arguably 3, we must pay attention to what our only rivals do as it is important. The OF games alone do not decide the title.
