  1. No probs mate.

Generally I think this ongoing farce means we're all a bit tired of the spin and subterfuge so I can understand why people get frustrated enough to become personal. There are certain folk who's contribution is less than helpful (or transparent) but I think we're all capable of judging their content on its own merits.

This time next week hopefully we'll be reaching the culmination of all this nonsense but, in the meantime, I suggest folk take a deep breath before posting. I've had to myself many, many times.

Depending on the result the real shitstorm maybe hasn't started yet?! :-(

  2. But of course the game in Scotland has never been healthier or more vibrant - if certain single brain celled pundits from Dundee are to be believed. Who needs effective competition anyway?

Last night's result sums things up perfectly. For all their apparent "strength" in the SPL, Celtic (and by association, Scottish football) are a joke.

About time our journos started bumping their gums about how we need a stringRangers?!!

  3. I am just posting something that was written on another forum that wasn't on here so people can read it. I understand a lot of people have already made up their mind, but there is no harm in them learning/reading more. If it had all of been hear say I would not of bothered, but the person has went out their way to back it up and remove personal opinion. It just seems that anything good about the board gets jumped on straight away here, surely the more information provided about both sides can only be good.

If the names in the article had been replaced with members of the current board I am guessing the tone towards it would be completely different.

Fair and reasonable looking response. Yet these painstakingly researched (if not always correct) articles only seem to come at it from one side. Maybe throwing out one or two articles doing the same detective work on the current directors or other subjects to do with the club would make it look less agenda driven?

  4. Comes across as RM promoting an agenda and no one buying it. Only time I see people like j1mgg is to promote this agenda.

I guess like many, to me it makes him and RM appear compromised and biased and therefore I won't buy it even if they may be making some valid points. At pains to tell people how they only deal in facts and then don't.

    Just my opinion.

  5. To the media et al, singing about the UVF/YCV (which is usually taken utterly out of context) is as heinous a sectarian sin as all the above stuff committed by the GB compiled on a heap. They use the "sectarian brush" and there are no ifs and buts when it comes to us. An utterly warped mentality ... (after IMHO years and years of Yahoo indoctrination)

And to andy steel apparently. Though he's absolutely getting his pants pulled down in this argument.

  6. The Union Bears insist on political indoctrination classes before you can join them and have had numerous banners at Ibrox celebrating terrorists who killed countless UK citizens? No? Then I'd suggest that the UBs are nothing like the Green Brigade.

Found it an odd comment but didn't know if there was stuff I missed as I currently live in England.

  7. Boyd with 1 assist 1 goal yesterday in Kilmarnocks win at Ross County.

But I was shocked to see the condition of Boyd he looked in the best shape in his career....looks like he lost all his weight and strong. Has he finally matured and realised what being a footballer is all about!

His assist and goal was impressive.

Saw the goal. Excellent finish. Missed the assist.

  8. Don't agree with SBS often but more inclined to side with him here. As a right back Faure has been passable at best. No worse than the others we have tried at right back but if Aird is to become a regular at right mid for now then my next concern is getting a decent right back.

  9. Could be personal taste but price doesn't always reflect which ever characteristics you choose, and which wine is better is very subjective. There's structure, mouth-feel, complexity, intensity and length of finish as well as other qualities to consider.

Or in the end it might just be a better wine - but you also pay for reputation and prestige, that doesn't get much better than a premier grand cru classé of which there are only five which have been recognised as producing the top wines since 1855 - apart from the ironically unclassified Chateau Petrus.

Top French wine will always be more expensive than the equivalent elsewhere; it's a case of location, location, location (as well as supply and demand).

There are quite a few parallels in football.

Anyway, I envy you being able to taste such famous and fantastic wines - far too expensive for my wallet.

And this is why I'll stick to lager!! Ha ha
