  1. The international transfer window hasn't opened yet Compo, 1st July.
  2. I dunno, as much as YT is easy to make someone look good, I think it's easier to see if they can actually perform. I recall watching City in a CL game this season, Grealish didn't have much of a game, couldn't beat the full back, and so resorted to rolling the ball back to the area maybe 25 yards out, which resulted in DeBruyne having a few shots. This then translated to Grealish creating the most chances in the game, which he didn't really. Whilst I appreciate he held onto the ball, didn't run into a blind alley, I don't see that a dig from outside the box is a chance, even if it is KdB, but he stats will say different.
  3. Absolutely, but my point is, his stats must have been pretty grim reading. The realists amongst us could see he was a player, but if we'd had access to XG, XD etc, I'm pretty sure lots would have been calling him down as well.
  4. I remember we signed a certain Dane who had struggled in Italian Football, and he turned out not too bad.
  5. Exactly, some of our fans would have a gammon faced fit if we signed Shankland, never mind a fat junior.
  6. I'm open to anyone who comes from a league that had finalists in all European competitions, and who our manager can see fitting into his style, I'd prefer them to be young and sellable, but this is Scottish fitba. I pay less attention to stats. I wonder what McCoist and Hateley's stats looked like in the seasons before we signed them....
  7. This makes me boak even more than that pic of the young Moyes
  8. Absolutely brilliant, a top class keeper with something to prove. 👏🏻
  9. Kennedy will get it, they always take the cheap option when coming off a period of success.
  10. When AC Milan can't compete financially with Bournemouth, you know football has gone mad!.
  11. I've always liked a back 3 if you have guys who are willing and able to step out with the ball (Goldson springs to mind) as it usually pulls a midfielder out of position, giving you an option and space to build attacks. Otherwise it's shite.
  12. I wouldn't hold the level he plays at against the guy, But it rarely works out a second time, even less so when the first time wasn't up to much.
  13. The players always look like they love playing for Scotland, and I'm always proud to see them pull on the Jersey. I'm not a huge fan of Clarke or the SFA, but the players ain't there to represent the SFA, same as our players aren't playing for Dave King, or anyone else on our board.
