  1. Fair enough Dave, I've got involved in a politics thread, which I always try to avoid! no more from me, I'll stick to what I come here for, The Rangers. ?
  2. We were warned, but a hell of a lot of people refused to listen, I never heard one single financial expert even attempt to paint Brexit as a good idea, but people have chosen to ignore experts, and believe power crazed fuckwits such as Gove and Johnson, and their bus ad drivel. Brussels is only doing what we knew they would, we need to look a hell of a lot closer to home if there's blame to be shovelled out.
  3. I'd agree, If I'd said it made someone feel any less British, then your point would be valid. however, the question was not that. I'm merely wondering how the current goings on between the EU and the self servers can make one feel 'more' British....
  4. Serious question, not trolling, but how can this Brexit fiasco make anyone feel more British?...
  5. In my time living on the Scottish riviera, I've witnessed a hell of a lot of Weegies, as the sun lures them from their penthouse apartments, with the promise of ice cream, sand, sea and a swally. Sophisticaction is not a word that has ever entered my thoughts whilst witnessing these specimens enjoying their sabbatical.... ?
  6. Not sensitive at all my friend, I just hold some different views from you, which really isn't an issue, as The Rangers is a broad church of people who are allowed to think and act as an individual. Unlike some others...
  7. Unless they're all imposters, there is a worryingly seditious element within the Rangers support, who promote republicanism and separatism. There's is a philosophy of denial with respect to just about every tradition we have. They're embarrassed by our loyaltyism, by our unionism and by our long affiliation with NI. Frankly, they make me sick. They won't be missed if they want to take their embarrassment elsewhere. I wasn't aware that we were all to fit in with you're identikit idea of a Bluenose. We're a football club, not a political institution, I have no interest in how my fellow Bear standing next me votes, indeed it's absolutely none of my business, all I'm interested in is our shared passion for the club.
  8. Aye, red white and blue for me, not a fan of the orange strip, nor the black one we had either.
  9. All depends if these sorts of things are important to you, tbh I haven't a clue how most of my Gers mates vote, or what their views are of indy or brexit. I've said it many, many times before, I'm proud that in the main we're a broad kirk of supporters, no one has to fit into any identikit of how we should think, vote or express our views.
  10. I'd welcome anyone to Ibrox to support The Rangers, whatever their political persuasion, creed, colour, class, sexuality, religion or anything else, we're a broad church that does not have to fit with anyone's identikit vision of a Bear. And to be quite honest, my decision on the ballot paper is very rarely, if ever, influenced by my sporting allegiance. Each to their own.
  11. We keep ourselves right, I couldn't give a toss what they do. They're banners are disgraceful, as is this one, no hypocrisy there.
  12. Being behind the goal at Hampden the night we beat them 1-0 in the SC semi, with 10 men for 85 minutes, they peppered our goal for a spell in the second half, hit the post, bar, we never stopped singing throughout it all, in the pissing rain. Tremendous.
  13. An image of someone looking like they're being kicked in the face isn't political correctness, it's rank thick-headed stupidity.
  14. Whoever came up with that needs a slap, whether anyone is offended or not, any events like that should be about our club, not other clubs.
  15. Tbh I'd rather see a younger manager given some time, as NI did with O'Neill, but I don't think we'd put up with O'Neill's record in his first year in Scotland....
  16. True, the fans are paying his wages, but fans can't dish out abuse and then go all snowflake when the player being abused gestures back IMO. The guys goals and assists this season have been very important to us.
  17. I couldn't really care if he was captain of the KKK and Sonder commandos select to be honest, if he's a good player, who wants to play for us and give his all, get him in.
  18. Rumours Stevie Mallan is wanting back up the road, I'd like to have seen us going for him when he went south, good player, young and has it all in the locker potentially.
  19. I'd take Chris Coleman over most of the other names mooted so far.
  20. Specs and braces are now pretty cool in schools, thankfully. Having seen how a well known local transgender was treated in my home town, attitudes towards these people are far from positive, sickening stuff tbh.
  21. Great forward step from the club, can only be good.
  22. Hes not a DM, That was just another of Malkys moments of genius....
