  1. Yes every player should be but that's ok in theory, look at last season nobody stepped up to the plate, it's something we lack as we stand at the moment.
  2. I agree with the team thing but I also feel within that system you can have matchwinners and sometimes there are moments when that one player makes the difference.
  3. I would love us to get someone who can win a game on his own, we need that, anyone got any ideas? Naismith possibly, or this big name forward who is supposed to be coming. A maverick type player, a no 10 attacking mid or a winger, someone with that x factor who can turn a game with a piece of magic. we seem solid enough in midfield but we need a wizard, like Krajncar, only maybe more mobile and more likely to bang in goals when you need them.
  4. Yes but it looks like he can conjure up goals on his own also.
  5. This boy can dribble, looking forward to seeing him tear their beloved Tierney a new one.
  6. Re the signing of Alfredo Moreles, his agent has said that the player's passport has been sent to the British Embassy in Helsinki as this is the procedure with non EU playerss if they are to be drawn against a British team in Europa League,(Didn't realise this, typical awkward Britain) he requires the passport to enable him to apply for the work permit so he can be registered for the 18th June for the Europa League. Looks like a sensational striker and I am delighted he is coming, surely all can be sorted, we need him for Europa League although I would just love to get him regardless.
  7. Not sure we won't be anywhere near Celtic, Aberdeen are breaking up, this happens to teams after a few years of relative success and solidity, especially teams like Aberdeen who have consistently been 2nd, we should definitely be 2nd.

    Carlos Pena

Don't get all this the guy seems like a player.
  9. Mexican Intl, Central mid, box to box player apparently in negotiations and close to signing.
  10. Isn't he meant to be in his position?
  11. Good. Exactly what we need.
  12. I don't know much about him except he's a defensive mid, haven't seen much of him, does anyone know what he will bring to us, is he a tough tackler?

    Naismith?

I think to a large degree Pedro has been experimenting, he came into a not very envied position and had to work with what he had, Europe was more or less secured anyway and he has poked about with the team for a bit, it's a case of give him the tools and the time and I reckon as he likes tinkering, with the right tools he will mould something good.
  14. He also got them close to winning the league for the first time in ages and it's easy for him up here compared to Liverpool. Players not so hot down there can walk it up here, Sinclair for instance.
  15. That was the best Celtic have ever played at Ibrox, I have never seen anything like that from them before, it was all teamwork, everyone running off each other, knowing where everyone was. Don't want it to sound like a Celtic love in, of course not but to be fair the Murty Old Firm game we got in their faces but they had probably one of their worst games. That was probably at least partly down to us being more aggressive, but they had an off day. Warburton was in charge of the home games v Hearts and Aberdeen, but I see your point.
  16. In fairness the Aberdeen record could have gone at any time.
  17. Excellent post, I couldn't agree more, let's get behind him I have a feeling we may make some people eat their words next season.
  18. That's Pedro though, he's the type who won't confirm anything until a deal is done.
  19. According to the Sun he has given assurances to Pedro that he will join us. Great if true and I reckon it will be.

    Naismith?

He's got a good 3 years in him and sell on value is all very well if you have a proven player, we have been burned with the likes of Crooks, Windass and Dodoo all here so we can attain sell on value down the line. Was only generalising we may well get some quality players but what I meant was you need to grab guys like Naismith when you can.

    Naismith?

Wonder how many would want him back, I would simply because he's a quality player (let's move on from that...) we need to move in the right direction with the right players and also a player who has done and I am sure would do damage to Celtic which at this moment in time is a bonus we must take into consideration. If it can be done then I hope it gets done as we aren't going to pick up many quality players. He is a bit of a moaning faced git but I see this as a positive also as that can be a good thing in a player and he has some grit about him also.
  22. Yes but in fairness mocking a dead terrorist ain't in the same league as the Ibrox disaster.
  23. Right enough Derek it is pretty embarrassing to finish behind you're lot.
