  1. I think it's obvious who moved their goalposts, and it wasn't Rangers
  2. yes, i called the club on Monday, and made a direct cash contribution. Very easy.
  3. Wouldn't suggest for a second that any elected director past or present has personally profited financially from any 1872 and those who would suggest so have no credibility, to be honest (and I haven't checked) i do not recall anyone on this forum suggesting such a thing.
  4. I fear it's not DK that's being duped. He wants to sell his equity but now is not the best time to do so, we still need investment. But behold a willing buyer, with a convenient former employee of DK apparently influencing the collectives strategy, only problem is the buyer dosen't have the funds.
  5. Here's how my simplistic napper looks at this, let's say i had 10 million to spare and wanted to buy Rangers shares (not to make money but because I'm a fan) Would i buy from an existing share holder or buy new shares from the club? No brainer really, I'm investing emotionally so dilution not a significant concern, so I buy from the club and thereby help to achieve our sporting goals. Now even if I was a non emotional buyer, I would still buy from the club as my investment would strengthen the business. So it must be asked why did 1872 not apply that fundamental logic? Why reject multiple share offers from the club? I believe the rank and file members of the collective have nothing but Rangers best interests as their objective, however they should be asking some very urgent questions directly to the directors and demand transparency not smoke, mirrors and straw clutching temporary U-turns.
  6. Just an attempt at damage limitation, nothing more.
  7. Are we sure the ban is a result of the forearm yellow? Or could it be a citation for his antics on being subbed?
  8. Such a shame, it would have made his daughter look radiant.
  9. When I was a snotty nosed, scabby kneed young Gaspard, Lucozade was sold in the apothecaries the bottled wrapped in orange cellophane and only to be purchased and administered in times of ailment, like TB, Cholera, Leprosy etc. Its great rival was Fergusade, similar livery but more yellowy than orange. Think it may have been deployed when the maladies were less severe, Hookworm, Pertussis and such like inconveniences.
  10. Indeed, and they would be in your own name allowing you to leave a "legacy" for future generations of Bill's
  11. Finally managed to listen to the cast. I'm not a C1872 member but as a ST customer and existing small shareholder, would assume I would be a potential target. Couple of things that i would have liked clarified I hear lots of rumours about a "shadow" director, if true what is his/her role and why is his influence seemingly kept from the public eye. King mentioned that C1872 had been invited to participate in issues, were these offers accepted? And if not why? As a footnote, I must add i have had no personal dealings with any of the 1872 board past or present and have no prejudices nor axe to grind, that said I do respect the opinions and admire the work done by one former board member and, should he be in a position to do so, would appreciate his perspective on this legacy campaign and the circumstances that have led to its inception. @D'Artagnan
  12. Haven't listened yet, what did Chris have to say about all this?
  13. Come on lads, what with this covid thing restricting revenue, they have to do something to fund the brown envelopes.
  14. i would have assumed those provisions would have been put in place to deal with exceptional circumstances like urgent maintenance or acts of God, not to pander to the home sides requirement for a jolly to integrate their new manager. "in the land of the Peter, the oriental eyed man is king"
