Was at training last night and my understudy Reserve goalkeeper is an Australian/Greek lad, big Panathanikos supporter. Anyway he keeps updated on the Scottish game and when i told him there was still an OF game to come at the scum dome and that for us it would just be party time he told me something pretty cool the fans should try. Turn our backs to the game,arms over the shoulders and do a bouncy,sway from side to side and just sing Championees. The idea being that the outcome of the game doesn't matter, we've won and we're having a party at YOUR ground. Ultimate sign of taking the piss according to him. Should give it a go... Thoughts on this or other things to do to celebrate when at the San Giro?

Gutted about the result for us tonight. And as good as the result in Paisley was, it's now kind of a anti-climax to the season now. Would have been fantastic to have got the treble. Why does a lot of people,including yourself it would seem, deem it right to be so negative about the result and performance of certain players or managment calls. Why not say 'oh well we've only lost one game in the league all season so over the period, the players have got it right. But today just wasn't our day'. For me it's a shame some of our supporters can forget about the big picture. We are still in the hunt for a treble. How many trebles have you seen in your life time supporting Rangers? For me it'll be my 4th and our 8th. So why don't some of our supporters start remembering that and rather than giving out crap about our players for making a mistake or having an off day. As I said, we r still in for the treble. :spl: and under the current climate I think we should be helping give the team a positive push over the finish line.

I then flew home and went to the 3-0 win against St johnston and despite being 3-0 up and the game won certain people would be on Flecks back all because of a miss placed pass. It's unreal. Is it so hard to support the team on the back of a non win?

WTF is going on here? At first he was out for 3 weeks, then reports came out saying he would be back for the Udt game, and now he's out for another 3 weeks.

Does anyone want to win this OF game more than any other you can remember? Thats kinda how i feel. After all these scummy pigs coming out in the press and slating us saying we'll bottle it and that all the pressure is on us along with their BS excuses i think this would be the sweetest in a while. And they're all sweet. It's a tricky one. Out of sheer respect Walter should be offered to stay on. The man has hit back at all his critics and basically kept us afloat. Lets remember he left his comfort zone to come back to us, took us to the UEFA cup final, won us back the league and is now on course for a treble despite all the troubles. Oh yeh and he's working without a contract just for the sheer LOVE of our famous club. IF we Win the treble this year then under the current climate and considering the very patch start to the season and CL it would have to go down as one of the sweetest ever. For that i'd hope Walter would be rewarded. Would he take it? I don't think so... I would like him to stay on for now, he know's whats best for us, he's got a group highly paid professionals fighting for the good of the club and how many times have we gone on about 'Passion'? Must say i've never feard Boydy taking missing a pen. I think i've only seen him miss one and that was against Killie last year when it WAS a shit pen. But he knows how to take one. He has the same approach as van nistlerooy or Shearer in that he pretty much goes for the same spot and drills it. Notice how mostly all of Boyds spot kicks hardly come off the deck, that's quality to do that.

I think we'll get a good price for him. Perhaps closer to the price we sold Cuellar for?? Why wouldn't we? The WC will bump his shares up more and still has the 2 years left on the deal. Fair play to him, yeh he's had his AWOL periods but there's no doubt how much of a positive influence he's been for us when he plays. And he's stuck to his word, whenever there was speculation he always said he was staying. If we can get 8m for Boumsong then i think we'll get a good price for Bougie.

Sigh, We are pish, plain and simple. The club as a whole is lost. Financially, off the park, on the park and some of our so called fans have had enough and can you really blame some of them? When i read this news i instantly thought 'He's off in January'. Players hold all the cards these days and clubs have methods to try and disguise whats really going on.

Understand that mate but i'd bet that tactics aside, EVERY SPL manager when they entertain us would be saying to his players not to let us settle, get at them from the first whistle. Win your that first tackle and hit them hard. All i'm saying is that when we get up to speed and hit a bit of form then we'll be OK. I seem to remember there was a similar thread to this toward the tail end of last season and sure enough we started flying out of the traps early. We've played a very small percentage of the season so i really don't see an issue. It'll come and we as fans have to give the team a bit of slack and support them.
