Need a massive turn around. Ironically it's only Lammers that has looked anywhere near useful, considering his historical stats were so poor. I fear saying things because people love to jump on others throats when anything negative is said about new signings, but Dessers has been absolute horse shite so far.

I only caught parts of the match last night, but Dowell seemed to put himself about quite a bit I thought, worked hard in defence, not just attacking. The main thing that stood out to me was that Hagi seemed like the best player on the pitch, whenever I caught up with the game it was Hagi with an intelligent cross or pass, creating something.

He's a man who knows how to get the ball into the back of the net. I'm actually disappointed to see him go.

I thought Sterling was a right-back? I think we still need a CB, Souttar is not reliable and Davies isn’t particularly inspiring.

That's a real shame, I thought he did a brilliant job with Scotland and was the nicest man in football.

Of course you can do some basic analysis and come to some conclusion and discuss it, otherwise we'd be as well as closing the forum and just agreeing with everything Beale says and does. There are basic facts out there that the boy has had an extremely barren last three seasons by even the worst standards, I hope he can turn it around because if he doesn't do it rapidly here then he will be chewed up.

Yep, but I understand he has had a bad knee injury since then (sound familiar?) and after his recovery his stats are woeful. I haven't seen him, I just hope Beale isn't wooed by the player he was rather than the player he is.

Thing is he's been in Germany too and had scant return there either.

Why only look at the last season though? It's been three years of no return, that's not a blip its consistently terrible. I hope Beale has been scouting him recently and isn't buying based on what he remembers from years past. I'm sure he's done his due diligence but it is a worry.

Like I said previously though, it doesn’t mean he can’t be a success. He can’t come here and expect to be coming up with those numbers though, he’ll be taken apart by the crowd.

I’m certainly struggling to understand it. A forward who has been unable to get himself into scoring positions doesn’t get a free pass just because he may be a ‘pressing forward’. The return is abysmal over the past three seasons, he will have to have a mighty turn around quickly because the crowd will gobble him up if he starts as slowly as he has done over the last 3 seasons.

You’re being extremely generous if you’re saying he’s not at all responsible for being in a position to score.

Rangers aren't playing a forward that can only manage 4 goals and 2 assists in 3 years mate.
