Any walking is clearly good for you but my earlier point wasn't about walking at all ..... but about the benefits that flow from spending time in wild places, particularly among trees and what @FDMA calls "real hills". Wandering around concrete jungles, hidden behind a barrier of loud music, is a very poor substitute.

On the whole, Tav has been good for Rangers, there's no disputing that. But he's also cost us dearly from time to time. That said, I think replacing him should now be coming to the top of our to-do list.

Was there ever any actual evidence of Rangers making concrete efforts to sign Doig. Football transfers are often as much about deliberate disinformation as anything else.

I've also noticed an increase in the numbers of young folk in the hills in recent years. I don't know if it's a response to the Covid imprisonments but I take it as a good sign anyway. Anyone who spends time among trees and mountains will instantly become a better person.

Frankly, I couldn't give a shit about visiting fans. Ibrox is our home and Rangers supporters should always come first in our own midden. The idea that we shouldn't sell a ticket to one of our own because someone cares more about bollocks like "banter" is unacceptable and the idea that we depend on a few hundred away fans to generate "atmosphere" at Ibrox is just risible. What others do in their stadiums is their business.

Nah, very seldom and not for many months. It's a great idea but I'm reluctant to spend an hour on a podcast. Maybe if it was a bit shorter I would listen more often but I think most people probably prefer it as it is. I'll need to check out this Stewart Weir now though 😁
