  1. Who cares? Flaunt your reasonableness to someone else. It’s boring as hell.
  2. Yeah, we have such awesome rights. What do you propose to achieve them ... because indignation sure as hell isn't going to do it, no matter how far up the moral high ground you think you are.
  3. As far as I'm aware they don't negotiate with Rangers but with the "authorities. However, if Rangers can broadcast TV worldwide I assume they can broadcast radio by the same means.
  4. Oh let's not forget them. Ooops I've already forgotten about them. How sad.
  5. Sometimes if you take a step back and think about just how ridiculous this subject has become, you might well conclude the world has gone utterly mad. Adults across an allegedly developed society fretting over the words of a football song. Football governing authorities ruling over supporters' songs. National governments passing legislation to curb the lyrics of choice in football chants. Church leaders pontificating over the moral compasses of football fans. Wtf is going on? Is this really what needs our attention? Are there no more important issues in this world in need of the time and energy wasted on petty shite like this? It's embarrassing just to think about it but it does at least serve as a credible benchmark for the stupidity and pointlessness of much of modern society. The immaturity is staggering. I'm glad I generally manage to rise above it.
  6. Rangers radio is clearly the best solution. I think I'll write to the club about it.
  7. No we're not. There's no inconvenience at all ... unless you're clinically stuck in the past and unable to move on. I've said before on here that Rangers needs to start providing a radio service but I can live without it if the alternative is to listen to the BBC disparaging my club at every turn. It's amusing you still harbour hope that the BBC can be reasoned with.
  8. I don't care whether they feel the fear of failure. I want them drowning in the pain of defeat.
  9. No, they don't care and frankly, neither do I. Not a single jot. I enjoy this thread but if it didn't exist I would be utterly unaware of the PQ farce. However, surely it's not beyond the wit of Rangers fans to devise something a little more influential than hidden commentaries of a few online forums. For example, without putting anyone in actual jeopardy, could you mobilise (say) 25,000 signatures on a petition, pledging support for the suspension of TV licence payments pending changes at PQ. Of course petitions don't ensure change but it would at least provide a basis for publicising the ongoing conduct of the BBC in Scotland. There are dozens of ways to publicise it too. I can't imagine many people connected with Rangers not wanting to sign. Whether this or better ideas, the point, surely, is to poke the bastards in the eye rather than making a noise where they can't hear it or can deny having done so.
  10. Best not to get carried away yet but what will be interesting if we keep this up is to watch how Celtic and especially their manager handle pressure ... something they've not had to cope with for many years now. I suspect that entire club has got too used to being handed a bye to every trophy on offer but those days have clearly gone now. I expect them to make bold moves in the January transfer window but that might only exacerbate what is clearly an unhappy dressing room.
  11. Five minutes ago we were shite from start to finish and couldn't defend a cross ball to save ourselves. Now we're scoring 5 goals, dominating the opposition and playing some great football. Which makes it quite funny to read how we need to be doing better ?
  12. Middleton we know about. I think he can pretty much be called on whenever needed. It has to be a priority to get game time under Grezda's belt, to the extent his physical readiness allows.
  13. One of my sons is a reporter for a daily newspaper and his views would dispute yours. Reporters are under constant pressure to prepare reports that make it past the editors and into print. Unless your name appears under headlines on a regular basis then your position is under threat. The power rests with the editors and they use it to ensure compliance with whatever views are adopted by the paper. Generally speaking, there is no journalistic freedom and whatever their personal opinions, reporters who still want to be reporters next week will write whatever they believe to be the views of their editors. So when attacking reporters for writing bollocks about Rangers, all you're doing is ensuring attention is kept away from those who actually decide what appears on the page.
  14. I hope this is simply about arriving at the position of having three players sharing the burden of two positions and not a case of having preferences and pecking orders. I also thought Worral looked good last night and brings an aggression and physicality that might be invaluable in the Scottish game. He looks to have a bit of a warrior mentality and I don't think he's going to be easily bullied by opposition forwards.
  15. I could join the crowd and pretend to be incredulous about the bias and corruption of PQ but somehow I can't bring myself to waste the time and effort involved. They are what they are, they've been that way for a very long time now and nothing is going to change in a hurry, certainly not as a result of anything Rangers or its support does or says. I enjoy reading about their antics on this topic but the idea of ever actually listening to BBC Scotland sports coverage would never enter my mind these days. So, on balance, I think it's best just to laugh and look away (OK sneer and look away). There's no way I could bring myself to get anything as interested as to be annoyed any more. My bottom line is I don't need them and I sure as hell don't want them. In terms of sports reporting, BBC Scotland no longer exists in my world. I get almost everything from RTV, the Rangers website, Rangers social media and some external online sources. The one thing that IS missing for me is a live Rangers radio service, covering matches (the RTV commentary could easily be adapted), post match analysis and providing wider news about the club and its worldwide support.
  16. This looks like a risky game to me. If it ever emerges that Club1872 are doing this at the behest or encouragement of the Rangers board then there could be severe legal consequences for both. It would amount to nothing less than conspiracy to defeat the direction arising from a senior court judgement. I hope they have their stories well prepared because this will definitely be scrutinised.
  17. Yes, it should be scrapped. It's a ridiculous arrangement of pure convenience rather than a contribution to sporting performance.
  18. If the BBC was privately owned, I'd say it was entitled to be as biased against Rangers as its owner wanted it to be. But it's not privately owned. Its snout is deep in the public trough and that makes its behaviour towards Rangers completely unacceptable. There can be no question whatsoever of Rangers admitting any fault in the current relationship, which is entirely of the BBC's own making, or of offering any olive branches. Frankly, we don't need the BBC and when the trophies are being welcomed back to Ibrox by 50000 Rangers fans, I hope Big Dick and the rest will still be broadcasting about Hamilton's late win at Aberdeen. BBC Scotland sports coverage is as petty and parochial as the product it relies on.
  19. The best way to have conducted ourselves would have been the same silence afforded to other opposition players.
  20. What kind of extreme right wing unionist BritNat d'you think I am? ?
  21. Like Marvin, I keep believing ... believing I've seen the most inept, cowardly and confused performance from a referee, then one comes along who confounds it by turning in something far worse. Football is a lottery when you give people like Clancy the whistle. What a complete dork. This is refereeing by idiots.
  22. This will really shock you .... I can do both .... at the same time .... simultaneously .... without even trying. I know, it's amazing isn't it but there you are.
  23. There won't be any fewer for you showing how they upset you so much. Poor thing. ?
