I idolised Durrant when I was wee. What happened to him put me off getting too connected to individual players. As for Lennon Miller, I don't think he's as good as he's made out to be and I reckon we can get better value midfielders elsewhere.

If we were offered £15m for Raskin, I think we'd take it and I wouldn't have a problem with that.

Every player has a price. I'm sure our new owners and management are more sensible than recent incumbents and we'll get good fees, instead of holding on to players too long until they either leave for free or a pittance. I'd obviously like Raskin and Igamane to stick around because they look like they have what it takes but I won't lose any sleep if they get sold for several million. I will probably lose some sleep if we don't sell Dessers.

We all know nothing is official until it's official. Regardless of that, I'm still concerned about the prospect of Martin becoming Rangers manager. I've been saying for years we need someone who doesn't stick to one style/formation. It's boring and easily found out, even by the dross we play most weeks.

It's fairly obvious the attacking side to his game has diminished in the past two seasons (goals and assists both down), he's lost a bit of pace and the defensive issues have also increased, with several examples where his lapses have cost us goals. It was time to sell him two seasons ago.

compo's a maverick. One minute he's banging on about the Iron Curtain defence or Jim Baxter, the next minute he's saying we should change our home strip or to dismiss our history.
