  1. I agree with that. Losing at home to Hibs, Aberdeen and heavily to Celtic were bad enough but the Progres result was unforgiveable. I'm trying to give him the benefit of the doubt but it's not easy.
  2. If we can't beat Aberdeen and get a draw with that other lot before the New Year then his time is up. Only so many humiliations the Rangers support will tolerate.
  3. We wore a training top. Puma won't do much for us and that's sort of understandable, albeit disappointing.
  4. I actually prefer a plain red away shirt. The 70s home and away, blue and red, tops are my favourite Rangers jerseys.
  5. It's a red top with our badge on it. We must be the most negative support in world football. Pretty much all football strips are templates these days - were people expecting Puma to pull out all the stops in a short timeframe and create something unique and stylish for us...given previous season's shirt sales?
  6. CoS? Church of Scotland?
  7. Good to see. Does the old style football the young lad has his foot on come as part of the tour (only kidding)? I love reading about the work the Founder's Trail do. It puts things in perspective and reminds us what Rangers is all about.
  8. To be fair, the Hearts players saw the flag so we don't know if they were playing to the whistle or what. Windass seems to be regularly involved in problematic moments for us. I don't like him. He's not a Rangers player for me.
  9. Hard to disagree with anything McLeish says there. We have to turn things around ASAP.
  10. The username 'magic hat' is a bit odd.
  11. About as funny as a punt in the baws.
  12. It was, although they had better players but perhaps not so strict tactically.
  13. Hopefully the Tims face a draining and arduous journey to and from Astana.
  14. A huge problem for anyone coming into the Rangers hotseat is that, as Walter Smith said, they're always one match away from a crisis. Pedro has to start winning big matches.
  15. My one word summary for yesterday's match would be 'frustrating'. I thought we played okay - just missing a spark of creativity. Get Niko, Dodoo or Pena in attacking midfield and drop Miller. Apart from Hardie, did we have another forward on the bench yesterday? We seem to be lacking strength in depth, particularly up front.
  16. Agreed. Any time any current or ex-Ger says anything nice about that lot is unpleasant.
  17. You'd think something like that might happen eventually, although I'd prefer no Red Bull clubs were invited. I struggle to see how we can improve our lot in Europe as things stand. Remember when we used to buy the likes of De Boer? Now we're buying Mexicans no one has heard of.
  18. True. Ajax are in a similar position as Rangers. Huge club in a diddy league, being left behind by the new super rich clubs and unable to compete in Europe.
  19. There's an interview with him on the main bbc football page and this stood out for me: "I have a blue heart… it's something that you always wear. You always hope that they do well, when you see them struggling so much, it hurts."
  20. Pena has come from another continent and appears to have some issues, maybe medical and phychological. You can't expect every new player to hit the ground running.
  21. If we lose by more than two he has to go. Lessons should have been learned but so far nothing suggests they have. I don't see him being here at Xmas.
  22. We're in the first month of the season. Give Pena a bit of time.
  23. Kranjcar still has a great pass on him. If he plays in a central midfield three he can work. A bit like Jan Molby at Liverpool, who was fat and lazy but could spray passes about like nobody's business.
  24. Indian Sikhs and Hindus fought too.
  25. Every team is meating us in midfield. I like Jack and Dorrans but neither of them is particularly creative. Get Miller off and put Pena, Niko or Dodoo in there with Jack and Dorrans.
