  1. . I know that the guy the Vanguard Bears announced as being the 'mole', Bill Mcilwraith, was a glorified admin and wouldn't have been within a million miles of those records.

You would think this guy , if wrongly accused , would seek to defend his reputation in some way .

  2. Interesting thread...

For me, all this talk I've heard around the people I know personally has been centered around '' old ideas '' and '' new ideas '' Some want the old guard to return. The drink together and win together mentality. Whilst others want a fresh faced manager to come in and take Scottish football by storm...

Old or New, I personally believe we're at a stage where we need the right ideas.

We've a behemoth of a training complex sitting in the shape of Murray park yet our teams since its inception has always looked upon a dead ball as something of a mystery. Our fitness levels have been suspect at times and last but not least, we often play like 11 strangers...These symptoms can be remedied by quite simply having someone in charge who takes their football seriously. We've a godlfish bowl mentality up here and I don't think it helps much.

We need to get in line with how the English teams train their players with the dieting and professional athleticism mindset. This should be a minimum at a club such as ours.

Our new manager needs to install an entirely new spine to the team..

For me the keeper has to go, I'm still wincing from Bells '' punch '' against Motherwell.

This will need something else we've had lacking of late.. a scouting network.

It doesn't have to be complex and expensive and wide stretching but at the same time it doesn't have to evolve around the managers contacts on his mobile.

Whoever the new manager is, he'll need the basics in place first...failure to put the fundamentals in place first is only setting him up for a fall. and if he falls, we fall as I don't believe we can go much longer without Champions league money.

I personally believe it's time for Rangers to ask it's players and staff to step up to the Crest and push back up to where we belong.

Warburton looks like the man getting in, but without the right backing, it may as well be Danny Kelly.

selling our best player mid-season for £300k doesn't help either

  3. If you can't understand all of the words, here's a lyric check ...

    Collymore's a wanker

    He wears a wanker's hat

    He was a Forest bastard

    And then a Leicester twat

    He went out with Ulrika

    (something about kicking her head?)

And when he went to derby

    (he broke his fucking leg)

" beat her like an egg "

  4. He has still left the door open when he said "they just need to call me". In the event that T3B and King can somehow get power and/or sway other investors into voting on their lines and/or get another share issue approved then Sarver could very well come back in. The problem is that in order to dilute the shareholding of Ashley/Easdale you need a 75% vote to allow an open issue to take place which allows for dilution. Ashley & Easdale comfortably have more than 75%.

This road has much to travel yet.

This is all very true . It's no coincidence that the easdale "block" amounts to more than 25% , hence my post from a few days ago saying that the allies might be compelled to keep the easdales on side with their personal holding of around 6% . Just me thinking aloud , we still don't know who owns around 15% I think .

  5. The only way Ashley would need to fund a loan is if everyone involved - present board(s), shareholders, potential investors, a new vehicle, even RFFF and so on - refused to offer one. Knowing that someone, somewhere will stump up the relatively small amount needed to keep things going until changes can be attempted, he can sit back, contracts signed, and let other people pay to cover the mess his actions have helped create.

He's probably more interested in striking accords with the people coming in. You don't need to see through walls to see how things are going at Ibrox, so he can hang out his useful idiots and get on with coorying in with the new lot.

Even if all this pans out best case scenario, we'll still be stuck with Ashley for years in some way, shape or form.

The cnut's sitting on around £3m of our money from the retail deal meanwhile the best young player at the club is sold for peanuts to pay the NI ! .

  6. Loan is to pay National Insurance apparently:

09:59: Rangers update Chris McLaughlin BBC Sport

Rangers' latest crisis loan was taken to avoid being wound up by HMRC, BBC Scotland has learned. It's understood the club received a seven-day notice letter at the end of December for the payment of national insurance.

They would know about this at the time of the AGM - BLOODY OUTRAGEOUS !
