I don't want to listen to 1hour 30 of that I am afraid.
Try from 27 minutes lads 'n' lasses.

MW in his interview leading up to the games was what I thought and mentioned in the SCFinal thread, more candid than usual in his observation that we'd only find out on the day if our preperation had been adequate.
I get the feeling that MW was half expecting that an undercooked Rangers would produce a less than brilliant performance. Not that the mgmt team didn't put in place what they thought was the best possible plan, more what he saw in front of him during the lead-up to yesterday connected to the lack of 100% fit options didn't install confidence.
After calmly reflecting on the game, we probably played better than we should have.
The lack of game play over the past few weeks definitely paid a huge part in our defeat, especially as Hibs had played several "cup finals" in the same period. Like Warbs said, we'll only know which would be the best preparation for yesterday. after the game itself.
Right from the start we had several unforced errors and bad passes...and god only knows what we were thinking at their first goal!
They went on to have many more chances than us and it was credit to all that their win wasn't more convincing.
In this case, match fitness definitely won over technical fitness.
I believe we lost just due to "circumstances" having finished our games earlier than them.
However, if the game had gone to extra time, the result might have been different.

That is not a preventive action. That does not punish the fans,
I'd also add that it has to be treated as far more than an ordinary pitch invasion. We have seen that in the past, but not players and officials being assaulted to this extent.
A £100K fine? Theywill make that through one home game. It's a slap on the wrist.
Tbf I don't think the Club itself. Hibs. had much to do with the matter, apart from ticket sales.
I was quite surprised at the size of their support, and wonder how many celtic fans may have been in amongst them. That will come out after arrests are made I suppose.
I think Prize Money will be withheld in order to make reparation to the cost of repairing Hampden, however, the fans who were there supporting Hibs were the actual problem so they must be banned for a considerable time, home AND away.
As for Petrie to attempt to brush it all off as "exuberance"!!!...he should be hauled up, sober, to explain why he publicly failed to condemn the rioters.
Let him come face to face with our players and officials who were assaulted and let them "exuberantly" assault him. That's how stupid his remarks were.
Gladly we are now in a different league from them so a rematch is unlikely for a while. and apart from the Killie game later, It's also the end of the season.
Anyone taking bets on a pitch invasion this afternoon?

Is this for the role we tried to line Eustace up for last year perhaps?

I actually take the opposite view , they get less money , lose the player and get another who isn't anywhere near as good , , scot Allan will never get the honor of playing for us , for what it's worth we are the biggest winners in this
It should also be noted that hibs may be losing one of their best players. If they don't gain promotion big heads will roll.
Karma has a habit of doing this kinda thing.

Apart from now knowing our Chairman has "never heard of Mark Wottke", that was a big fat waste of time.

Truly astonishing reports published in the Scottish "Media" despite everyone watching exactly what happened. If there has ever been any doubt in anyones' minds as to the anti Rangers bias then this this must be the clincher. Within seconds of the game, the press were all over it. Not about Motherwell staying up, not about us failing to win promotion, not about McCulloch being prodded by a Motherwell "fan" with a stick, not about Motherwell "fans" invading the pitch, not about Motherwell's inability to steward their own "fans", not about these failures almost culminating in what could have developed in to extreme violence, BUT accusing Mohsni of challenging his attacker again in the car park after the game, then once they had drawn breath, went on to accuse the Rangers' player of extreme "shameful" violence, when it was he who was the victim after being shoved in the back in a cowardly attack, and when he tried to defend himself, further attacked by several other Motherwell players. I hope Mohsni gets legal counsel immediately and takes every one of those libellous rags down, after all who would want to sign such an "animal"! The evidence is there for all to see.

I guess they're treating our new board as Guilty until proved Innocent.
Forever strife.

Raman Bhardwaj @STVRaman
Derek Llambias and Barry Leach driven out of Ibrox via side exit.. good job I had the trainers on
Were they taken away in the Rentokill van which had been parked outside?

Surely they've all failed Duty of Care responsibilities as prescribed by Law! http://www.iod.com/guidance/briefings/cgbis-directors-duties-and-responsibilities

Should Llambias not be sacked because of the lies which were given to the Stockmarket?

Aw wee soul. And I don't mean wee Derek 'the Llamb'. I mean the wee arsehole who spun this nonsense. When you read it, it transpires the "Glasgow city bar" was a hotel. And given that the 'Llamb' only frequents 5 star hotels I would suggest the physical intimidation was somebody beating him to the free nuts on the bar.
Jack, you seem to be more on your high heels these days than on your toes, 'cos your spin is woeful.
Preparing the ground for an EGM cancellation!

There was once a time when I thought the team should have been built around him.
That time is sadly long gone.
Word is he's been lined up as Assistant player/manager to Gary Locke at Killie at the end of the season.
He can go now as far as I'm concerned.

I wonder if they first met in Greenock Jail?

Nah...why don't the troops hire Easdales' buses for the trip...I love irony btw.

Not the point MB. It would appear to me that it's probably the Newcastle Reserve Team Coach who's now in charge of our team selection.

I'm presuming UEFA are aware of all these matters regarding the Club. Surely every football club is to be all about the Game, not merely a vehicle for commercial activity.

Absolutely spot on Craig.
Many fans are hung up on the "Rangers'Men Only", so much so as it could put the Club in real danger or, at the very least make us unable to reach our full potential.
You only have to look at every successful football club throughout the World...foreign managers, coaches, players etc.
Long gone are the days when "they" won the big trophy with local boys. Possibly the only time it's ever happened! Yet their Board of "ce..ic" men pocketed a great deal of their fans' money for their own personal gain.
So, the myth about have former players, fans etc coming back to run the Club is just what it is, a myth.

Why did Doncaster feel the need to answer such a frivolous question? ie. "Wasting Police time" etc.
It has been clearly documented time after time over the past 3 years or so.
Also, why was it even asked other than to try and cause unrest.
Apparently Doncaster must have nothing else to do to warrant his salary.

Pardon me if I've missed it, has there been any movement from Dundee Utd re. the Charlie Telfer payment?

Their fans came prepared with a pre-meditated plan to cause unrest. This was condoned by their Club by the fact they did nothing to prevent it.
Our fans came to enjoy a football match.
Granted our fans should not have vandalised anything.
However, a heady mix of anger, frustration, alcohol, and witnessing the authorities doing nothing to stop their vile display, meant our frustration spilled over.
Thank goodness it was only the lavvies which were attacked, and not celtic supporters imo
