    This has absolutely nothing to do with being Irish or catholic. This is solely about sectarianism and support for republican terrorism. Even though many celtic fans will shake their heads in disbelief at the actions of their fellow fans, their club has sold them out yet again by tacitly condoning their vile actions. No doubt in the next day or two, we will see the cfc public relations swing in to action with some kind of gesture to win over those decent fans who were also disgusted like everyone else. However, as what happens every year, they won't have to try too hard. A vile club with vile supporters.

    For starters, Jackson didn't need to do the piece. I read it as another attack on the clowns at the sfa. Who's on the sfa I ask myself? Why, it's Peter "I'll stay out of anything which could lead to a conflict of interest" Lawell, and the rest of the gang who are only there to look after number 1. What their true reasons are?...Nobody knows bar themselves. In my opinion the guy doesn't go any further because there are zero facts to say exactly who is pulling the strings...we can only guess. Strip the whole thing back to the appointment of Regan and the previous connections he had with Lawell. This, my fellow Bears, is what Regan is being paid to do.......However. try proving it and that's why no newspaper can print such things.

    For me it is, as it was not entirely unexpected.

    Our Club's reputation has been slandered, manipulated and hijacked continously over recent years until it's core values are no longer recognisable. Whether it's been our enemies who have always tried to damage us with the pen and the sword, or greedy individuals using our huge, loyal following to make money, we are simply not the Club we used to be. But then, time marches on. These great stories, and there must be thousands more, (I myself arrived back in Kirkintilloch after "that" game oblivious to the ensuing catastrophe to be met by anxious parents}, must be gathered from those supporters who lived it and kept for posterity. It is living history. Thanks Stevie for posting this.

    I read somewhere, it may have been in the Hampden Museum, that way back in the day not long after "they" were formed, that they and Hibs were the major Clubs at the time. Both Clubs relying heavily on catholic support so therefore had catholic players to attract them...and vice versa I suppose. Nothing wrong with that, especially from a business standpoint. It went on to state that the general Scottish public sought to break this stranglehold and so, merely copied their model by the already formed Glasgow Rangers. I think it also went on to say that West of Scotland Protestants chose Rangers, they were the obvious choice being biggest, strongest, based in Glasgow and it was not Rangers who chose to represent Protestantism. Can anyone verify this or did I just dream it ?????

    I don't know these guys much, but I have heard they're quite shrewd in business and have been successful in what they do. Which "Rangers minded" businessmen who are interested in buying in to us are there around? Most successful businessmen have cut corners to be better than the rest. If they are "dodgy", then they must be open in any dealings involving the Club. I say we should accept what's happened and move forward and stop worrying about what others may think.
