  1. We need to all calm down in my opinion. Charles Green is doing the right thing for our Club, and what's more, has to be seen doing the right thing.
  2. Surely what the Lurgan chap said breaches SFA rules with regards to "Bringing the Game into Disrepute". We have to use the rules as they are against them in respect of outwardly criticising other Clubs, criticising the Legal Authorities, regularly singing songs of hate etc. etc. Mr. Lunny !! ......COOOEEEEE! Are you listening ?
  3. Purely a co-incidence that Hamilton and his big minder just happened by.....ya think. Have we learned nothing? The tims are capable of anything and have lunatics who's only aim in life is to harm our Club.
  4. DOH! Never thought of that one!
  5. Quite simply the SPL is awash with stupidity literally, from top to bottom. Dundee won the lottery with a chance at the "big" league. They may have been un-prepared for the leap but they would have a decent team sorted for another promotion push anyway. If anyone was un-prepared it was their Management for not watching how matters were developing with us. Unlike Ally. He didn't even know if we were going to be playing competitively this season with the SFA goons putting off membership until the last moment. How he and any players wishing to join the Club could prepare themselves only Gawd knows. As for Lemmon! He never fails to talk complete and utter shite. I wonder if he's trying to talk up his "sensational" team as they drew with Saints who had two perfectly good goals disallowed, or, he's merely as stupid as a stupid thing can be.
  6. I didn't think this type of fine could be enforced on someone who no longer has any involvement in football, after all it's not a debt. Can anyone confirm ?
  7. Read this tonight. What do we think ? http://forum.rangersmedia.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=242225
  8. Is there not a PR Department who's job it is to deal with this kind of thing ?
  9. I would have him back no problem, obviously at no more than an average wage. I accept his fore mentioned "bad points" but I think his experience would be valuable particularly with the numerous young guys trying to break through. There is no doubt concerning his Rangers "credentials" and I think he could help the Club for the next couple of seasons to get through the lower divisions. At the moment, apart from Jig, and he's not always fit, we have an older, narky guy to stand up to other Club's bullies. Last week's Peterhead game was a good example. I think we let the cloggers intimidate some of our players. I'm confident this wouldn't have happened if Ferguson (or someone like him) was on the park.
  10. I would have hoped Jim Traynor in his Rangers position would have been employed in addressing this very topic throughout Scotland's Lawcourts, Britain, Europe (UEFA) and throughout the World (FIFA). Our reputation has been severely damaged and will remain so if our own authorities remain silent.
  11. Just trying to suck up to his mhanky pals. Is he not still barred from the beggardome ? They could do with him back to boost the numbers.
  12. I think Archie should have Regan's job. Regan lacks only two things which Archie has in abundance, intelligence and common sense! Mind you, Regan lacks many other qualities far too numerous to mention.
  13. In my opinion, Mr. Green chose the opportunity to say a big "fuck you" to Regan and Doncaster as well as announcing to anyone who might be listening that Rangers Football Club are open to offers from abroad. It will also help those 2 halfwits focus a bit more closely to acknowledging what Rangers actually mean to Scottish Football.
  14. Surely Rangers TV have the exclusive rights for any games played at Ibrox ?
  15. Can't understand some of you being so critical of this blog. I shared many similar experiences to Leggo's and remember them fondly. Experiences through the eyes of a child with all his "elders and betters" around to explain the ways of the world as they saw it, No mass communication then. Not many homes with TVs, let alone telephones, internet etc. Disappointed that some of you condemn him on this occasion when all he's writing about are his very own personal experiences. My own new year in Kirkie was very similar. Maybe some can learn as to where Leggo, and others from his generation are coming from. A time which was obviously more simple and straight forward. Anyway, a guid new year to one and all of my fellow Bears. Hears my main wish for 2013, the Bears united will never be defeated.
  16. If such a tape exists under the supposed circumstances obviously it has no legal worth whatsoever, just a bunch of people talking about how much they hate Rangers. There is absolutely no reason for it not to be produced. It would be left for everyone to decide if it was true and accurate. I'm sure Limmy or someone could knock one up in a couple of hours.
  17. He was extremely badly advised by those who had their own reasons for doing so. Whether he was swept along by this or just chased the £££ only he knows. No idea about his form. He would have to pay us if he wanted to resurrect his career imo
  18. The way I understood it was they were granted leave to appeal but had to lodge it by close of business today!
  19. Can anyone tell me if this is in fact the case ? http://gersfamily.tumblr.com/post/38714807278/tax-case-appeal
  20. I don't know any of those mentioned by Leggo and I don't really care to, I'm more than happy to be part of our Gersnet Community. I have followed Leggo for several years now and have been both informed and entertained. There are some of his blogs however I do find disagreeable and the recent Jock Stein one was I didn't care for. I consider myself as a reasonably informed adult and can use that knowledge to decide for myself if something seems "iffy". I too have one or two contacts who can sometimes confirm or deny some of the things he posts. If you have also kept up with his blogs, you will also be aware he has received many threats in the past which have been investigated by the authorities. Unlike many, Mr. Leggat has got the balls to put himself out there in the public eye therefore leaving himself open to criticism. However, no-one deserves threats of ANY kind for expressing their opinion, especially an informed one. If someone has differing information let them produce an alternative blog. Heavy breathing down a 'phone is hardly the way to do it. He has a long background of journalism and football knowledge, to call him an "attention seeker" is just plain wrong. He ploughed a lone furrow of Rangers supporting blogging for many years now and it is only recently others like Bill McMurdo and Chris Graham etc. have joined in. All he offers is a viewpoint based on what he knows, no-one says you must read it and it's the gospel truth. Any rational person knows they can't be right all the time. However, one thing is clear in my mind, and that is he's 100% Rangers, and that'll do for me.
  21. By timmy's rationale, we should be posting home attendance figures of around seventy to eighty thousand.
  22. Very sad that people who call themselves genuine supporters take it upon themselves to ban other supporters who may differ from their personal opinion. Those "people" must possess very fragile egos. Which begs the question as to why they become involved in public debate. By all means ban folk who issue threats or post abusive remarks, but not for voicing their opinion, especially if they are a bone fide fellow fan. I for one, cannot be part of any organisation which allows this fascist like state of affairs, I may as well join the SNP.
  23. Anyone who has kept up with matters this year will be confused as to why he has merely stated the obvious that we are weaker onfield. They will be even more confused that he has said we are weaker off the field, which is clearly not the case. Management, share issue, cash, fan solidarity, and, are able to see a fantastic future before us. In fact, most things that cfc and their disappearing support don't have. These words would only have acknowledged, believed, and sucked up by the patrons of Bairds Bar at slopping out time, no-one else.
  24. If WE had done the same thing, I would certainly wonder why it was done at a London Hospital and how it managed to find it's way on to the front page of the Daily Rhebel simultaneously.
