Depending on what plan [if any] gets put forward I'd certainly consider investing a few thousand in Rangers. One condition............Murray is nowhere on the horizon. Because of that charlatan and what I suspected he was up to, apart from a couple of freebies, I haven't set foot in Ibrox for about 3 years now and Rangers have not had one brown penny from me during that time. And that's a sad thing to say for someone who'd attended home and away since the early 60's.

Taking into account what's gone on in the past couple of years, 17 small steps may be a better idea rather than 4 or 5 huge leaps.

I posted on another forum right after Burley got his P45 that my money would be going on Jeffries getting the Scotland job. I don't agree with it, but the SFA will be able to peddle the "years and years of experience" line to us with him. That coupled with the behind the scenes meddling going on at Rugby Park makes him the clear favourite in my eyes.

The minute Nacho scored that penalty in Italy it was obvious that the authorities in Manchester didn't want Rangers fans there. We were told, "Don't travel without a ticket". Several days later there was still no plan in place for either a fan zone or big screens. I'd urge all Bears to petition against Manchester ever being awarded a major sporting event again. -
Boycott the place..................and not before time too.

If folk want to fly RHOU flags at Ibrox, that's up to them. It's a free country after all. I'm a Scots Rangers fan and don't feel the need to get involved in this one.

Story on the radio was that Liverpool came in after Villa. By the time they made a bid, Cuellar had already signed for Villa at �£15,000 a week more than Liverpool offered. Don't know how much truth there is in that one though. :moon:

Seems to me we had "short-termism" last season [and , it has to be admitted, with some success]. What did we do then ?.............we sold our best 2 players ! Sorry, but 4-in-a-row doesny matter. Rangers need torn apart from the top down and then rebuilt. -

I'm coming to the conclusion that Uncle Walter would only blow more money on another 3 strikers than use it to buy players for where they are needed. About the only manager in world football who could work with our current squad is Jimmy Calderwood [when his team go 3 down]. I dare say Mr Smoke & Mirrors will come up with some fairy-tale to justify the cutbacks at the AGM.

Oh I read it. I just lost interest after the 2nd or 3rd sentence. It is plain you know hee-haw about the RST. You don't like them. But you don't know why. Fair enough.

'Subsidised' away trips had absolutely hee-haw to do with the RST. It was a benefit for ANY Rangers fan who had shown loyalty to the Club by attending previous European matches. So I fail to see why you brought that up. "We've allowed them (in some cases elected them) to gain this stature."......are YOU a member of the RST ?

Aye. Maybe like you I should just roll over and accept whatever the media want to shaft me with. I woke up a LONG time ago. Just you go back to sleep and dream about Murray. I just cannot believe that there are GENUINE Bears who would rather give another set of Rangers fans a kicking [whether you agree with the goings-on within the RST or not] than give credit to them for standing up to the rhats in the Press.
