  1. That's EXACTLY what I'm saying.
  2. I'd say it was OBVIOUS that you never saw the game. Aye, we should play as a team and the whole team take the credit for success..........................but Ferguson was so anonymous in the first half I was startled when he came on after half time.
  3. I saw enough of Sebo to realise that he'll NEVER be a football player as long as he's got a hole in his @rse. To compare him to Buffel is utter madness.
  4. ................for Novo to get caught offside every single time.
  5. Never had much time for all of that before. But the more the mhanks in the media tell me I AM NOT ALLOWED to sing or that they take offence at it, the more I'm determined I f@cking WILL. :admin:
  6. QUOTE FROM ELSEWHERE : The £3million Premiership switch isnât dead yet, but veteran defender David Weir insists that Cousin is made to feel welcome in the Gersâ dressing room in the meantime. "The players understand the situation," Weir said. "As long as Daniel comes on and does as well as he can then we are happy with that. "There is no problem with the players - the players are quite happy for Daniel to be here. "We don't want anybody to get that kind of treatment but the fans are entitled to voice their opinion, that's what they are here for." ...............I'd say that sort of backs up what I was on about.
  7. I think you maybe missed the point I was trying to make bud [probably because I didny explain it too well]................you were saying about the 'negative impact' on the players left at Ibrox if Cousin was played before his intended move. I would think the majority in the dressing room don't see things the way we the fans do. They see it as a fellow player getting the chance to move to the 'Premier' League, a place most of them would LOVE to move to. I honestly believe that most of them would wish him well. Of course Boyd might have an axe to grind. But his arguement is with Walter and not with Cousin.[ I also suspect that Walter has told Boyd that the solution lays squarely with Boyd but that's another arguement].
  8. Anybody that even TRIES to compare Boyd with McCoist has never seen McCoist play. And that's a fact.
  9. I'd play him in most SPL games or in a game against some mob from Malta or somewhere in a European match. Given the formation we use nowadays, he just ain't mobile enough to be played in any other matches.
  10. Couldny find anything to disagree with in this one. Surprising, since it's in The Herald. http://www.theherald.co.uk/sport/headlines/display.var.2046573.0.Caution_or_misfortune_to_blame_at_Ibrox.php
  11. If Cousins move goes ahead, to be perfectly honest, I couldny give a sh!te what he does in the future because he will no longer be a Rangers player. The fact that he's willing to move to a team fighting relegation suggests to me that it's the lure of playing in the EPL rather than the money . I can guarantee that Rangers tried to improve his wages and conditions , etc the minute the interest came from down south. But he still wants to go. I stand by what I posted above.............if an EPL team came in for just about ANY player at Ibrox, they'd be off. Winning medals in a Micky Mouse league [to a professional football player] is akin to winning a medal in a school team. Playing in the top league, the reason we're told so many want to come to Ibrox [for C.L. football], is what most footballers would aspire to. Sad, I know.
  12. Unfortunately, I believe that 99% of our squad would accept the same deal as Cousin if they had the chance. It's the nature of the game these days.
  13. I'm a lifelong Rangers fan. I KNOW what the term 'loyalty' when we're talking about Rangers means. Nobody more disappointed than me that it's come to depending on the form of a man who wants to leave Ibrox. Years ago he would've been hunted out the door FIFA or no FIFA. But 'loyalty' didny end with Cousin asking to leave. Other guys walked out the door and are STILL hailed as 'loyal heroes'.
  14. I ain't seen enough of Naismith to judge whether he's of European ability. He certainly has potential. Boyd and Novo are not , never were and never will be good enough. My opinion of course. As for Cousin holding back due to a pending transfer..........in his short time with us, he didn't strike me as the sort of player to go hurtling into tackles or to run like a headless chicken chasing up defenders and that was the main reason he was called 'lazy' by sections of the Rangers support. It's not in the make-up of most European forwards . His ability is his weapon and I for one would use him if I were Rangers manager.
  15. Aye..............and Big Boab. A better Bluenose you'll never find. Unfortunately, he didny know how to play football. :uzi:
  16. Only a fool would say that Cousin doesn't have ability. He is a professional football player who has already crossed borders into other leagues so why should his mental state be called into question ? We saw no evidence of it on his move into Ibrox and I've seen nothing from any source apart from the garbage in The Sun which calls his mental state into question. Ergo.............he's a very good footballer who should be able to do a job for us if picked tonight.
  17. The crowd probably COULD play a part in how the game goes. True bud. But................I think the same feeling could be picked up from the fans if we end up with Groundhog Day syndrom of humping the ball up the park to find Novo or Boyd offside. [ok , both have their assets but I have NEVER, in just under 50 years of watching football, seen 2 guys who get caught offside so much.] An early goal for us would make a difference but the most important thing for me is not to lose a goal.
  18. That's what the game's all about bud.............opinions. I'll even accept Boyd playing. As long as we get a decent victory.
  19. YOU are the one questioning his mental state. Not me. Are YOU the one just 'guessing' ? Insults destroy your credibility as well.
  20. He's a good footballer, and that's the important thing. His move into Ibrox didn't seem to affect his mental state. He hasny been living inside an egg since his proposed move south hit the papers. He's been training with the squad and I'm certain that Uncle Walter wouldny play him tonight if his head wasny right. Apart from a load of p!sh in The Sun, there is absolutely NO evidence that Cousin is not mentally right.
