  1. The Aussie playing for the Thistle yesterday Ryan Edwards, this is his Dad. Edit Born in Whyalla, South Australia to Scottish parents, Edwards' family moved to Kwinana when he was a child, where he joined the local junior team before representing Western Australia in a team that won the 1986 Australian under-18 title. He made a couple of appearances for the state senior side at the age of 17, before attending the Australian Institute of Sport in Canberra. He then had a spell with Rangers in Scotland, before joining Sydney Olympic and scoring the winning goal in the 1989 NSL grand final. After two successful spells in Asia and short stints with English clubs Brighton & Hove Albion and Millwall, he briefly rejoined Sydney Olympic before linking up with Perth Glory for whom he played 93 times and scored 24 goals. In all, he made 173 appearances in the NSL. Never played a game right enough, around '87/88.
  2. Well done to the lad. Young midfielder Liam Burt has been called up to the Scotland Under 21 squad to face Iceland and Macedonia. Burt, who is only 17-years-old, has worked with new Under 21’s manager Scot Gemmill at Under 15 and Under 17 level previously and has obviously made a big impression on
  3. I don't want it played long all the time, I said occasionally, neither do I want to see plan A scrapped. I would like to see MOH given a run, someone who does things differently from the others. Wallace and McKay gave us good pace and quick attacks last season, this seems to have gone from our game, perhaps MOH would get us from back to front quicker.
  4. We are too predictable, everybody and their granny knows what we do. Plan A is fine but not to have a plan B, C or D is just stuborn nonsense. Why not tell your keeper to play a long ball occasionally and have 2/3 players up the park, just mix it up to keep opponents guessing.
  5. No penetration because it takes 9 or 10 passes to get to their penalty box, by that time they are set up defensively. Most of the time we pass it backwards to where it was when we started.
  6. Thought we played well for 15 minutes. Passing the ball with no end product is pointless.
  7. Horrible going to a football match and this happening. Thinking of the lads family and friends.
  8. Nothhing wrong with executing an Orangeman in modern scotland.
  9. I hope they hold their nerve. I wanted a mix on the Board, not sure there is enough.
  10. No, I don't expect Garner to be dropped either, although I am not sure about Waghorn playing wide, to me he just doesn't look interested. It would be interesting to see Waghorns scoring rate when played as a striker. As for Garner, I couldn't give figures but I am led to believe he has never been a prolific scorer.
  11. Agree with this, couldn't understand moving Waghorn last week after scoring 3 as a striker.
  12. Surprised at only 33 voting.
  13. Buyer as well, is it Kennedy as per the rumour?
  14. More trading today.
  15. Interesting about a Rangers youth player. Scotland's U16s lost out 4-0 to France at Oriam but scoreline a bit harsh. A few flashes of potential. Short report up soon @ And probably far too early to be hyping up any of the kids involved, but there's a lot to like about Rangers' Billy Gilmour. @Cammy26_2 As you say, been a lot of talk. Technically very good, always looks for the ball and shields it well. Plays with his head up. @JohnMcIntosh19 @Cammy26_2 Think there are a few on his trail. By all accounts he has a good head on his shoulders.
  16. MW must be getting fed up with this, I'm sure it is deliberate, trying to sicken him.
  17. Too early for me to say, but the lad needs a goal to see if it will settle him down. I did think when we signed him, other parts of the team needed strengthening more than up front. £1.5m is a fortune for us, but in England it buys the likes of Garner, surely we have some contacts abroad.
  18. Agree, but who is Teddybears??
  19. If it didn't come over the fence it couldn't have been thrown by Rangers fans as the Record states.
  20. Not sure that came over the fence.
  21. Agree with this. Didn't understand moving a striker out wide, after scoring three goals midweek.
  22. We are allowed to dominate matches.
  23. Nothing to do with putting a dent in Ashleys pocket as well you know.
  24. Unfortunate to lose 3 points today but it seems to be a trend. I thought we were the better team in the first half, but again for the possession we have we don't make enough chances or get enough players into the box. We have to stick with the Manager and support the team, we cannot afford anything else.
  25. What time do we change things, 60 mins??
