  1. So I was thinking on this last night and got round to recalling the bile that was spat at our club when we went into the lower leagues. The way football fans spat on the memory of Johan Cruyff 48 hours after he lost his battle with cancer, the falkirk fans throwing fake eyes on the park after one of their own players mocked a disabled player in a previous meeting, and of course, celtic fans hanging effigys from the rafters of their own stadium, leaves a very bitter and foul taste in my mouth.

  2. If he played at celtc he would be a 50 million pound player as far as the press are concerned.

The difference in how we and them are treated is at play here.

Hes a young lad learning all the time. Thats the actual truth.

    Yup,

I see a young kenny miller in him. He will have a very good career should he keep his head down and tame the fire.

  3. I am chuffed with the youngsters today, took no shit today.

Morelos will turn good when he develops composure.

We bossed that second half in the middle of the park. Had we started the season that way we'd be in a much healthier state.

  4. I honestly don't know how I feel about this one.

I'm optimistic because of what hearts did, as they also had first team players out injured.

I'm calm because I know anything can happen.

Yet pessimistic because our team hasn't shown us consistency so we could be turned over big style.

That being said, I'll be delighted with a 1-0 victory via Alves pulling off some weird Matrix/Ugo Ehiogu manoeuver in the last minute.

  5. Didn't know DTB had been shutdown, sorry to hear that.

    Welcome to Gersnet though!

I was there from day one, was a member of the staff for donkey's. It got hacked three times in the space of two weeks in September. The owners just didn't have it in them to keep the lights on. It has been coming to be honest, it became a disfunctional social club with very little content.

Apparently most the members have moved to some new forum that was set up by somebody but from what I hear it's just a continuation of beating the same old dead horse.

Very happy to be here though, thanks for the welcome.

  6. Enjoyed the game myself, good proper ding dong of a match.

I think Wenger needs to go with his head held high, he's outlived his usefulness. I will always be impressed with what he did for the club and football in Britain but everybody has their time and his has since passed.
