  1. And in December he joined the Board of the Plc.
  2. No he wasn't but it's clear to me MM was talking about his appointment to the Board of RIFC after attracting a number of institutional investors, not when Charles Green invited him onto the Sevco Scotland/ RFC Board on which he served alongside the three amigos and was the only NED.
  3. I was there last night and was also handing out leaflets. Maybe I met you.
  4. Frankie, apparently BS told the RFFF that the accounts would be out on 3rd October. I've also heard 24th for the AGM but not sure if that's because it's 3 weeks after 3rd.
  5. VBs tweeted it after the RFFF met with Craig Mather. Apparently it came from him.

    Rfff?

The Trust, Assembly and Association have been trying to get a meeting with the Club since early August. It appears that Mr Mather would prefer to have three meetings instead of meeting us together. Divide and conquer?
  7. If they would only stick to the things they are good at, like this, more people wouldn't have a problem with them. I do think the last sentence is a bit dodgy though. Could be viewed as incitement IMHO.
  8. Looks like No 1 is the clear winner. It's my favourite.
  9. Sorry, I don't have your e-mail address on this computer Could you PM it to me please?
  10. The reason I wondered that was that he was originally supposed to have been on £500K and then it changed to £300K. He got these jobs not on merit but because he paid £1 for his shares prior to the IPO when it was initially going to be about £1.25 in the IPO. When it turned out to be only 70p the money had to be made up somehow.
  11. No, it was of the company I believe. It would make a difference if he was getting paid for doing both (I'm not saying he is). Edit - here it is. A statement to the Stock Exchange confirmed: ``Rangers announces that the Board has appointed Craig Mather, aged 42, to the role of Chief Operating Officer for the Group. In addition, Craig will act as interim Chief Executive Officer and will be a member of the Board as the interim Chief Executive Officer. ``In the meanwhile the search for a permanent replacement for Charles Green will continue and a further announcement will be made as appropriate.'' He replaces Green, who became chief executive of Rangers last summer when his consortium purchased the business and assets for £5.5million after the club was consigned to liquidation following a period of administration. Green announced on Friday he would be stepping down from the role amid claims by former owner Craig Whyte - who was at the helm when administrators were called in - that he was involved in the Green consortium's acquisition of Rangers.
  12. So, in April it was needed but now it isn't?
  13. This is something that I have thought about posting for a while. It is not an accusation as I don't know the answer but have been wondering about it recently. In April, it was announced that Craig Mather had been appointed as permanent Chief Operating Officer and interim Chief Executive Officer. When it was announced that he had been appointed permanent CEO, no mention was made of the other post and I've heard nothing since. Anyone got any ideas?
  14. They seem driven by hatred of others - sad really.
  15. He has a very good reputation in business but too close to SDM for me plus he showed utter contempt for the fans. I don't think there is any truth in this but I don't know for sure.
