Strong defensive performance by us despite Sparta's inability to finish clinical. I thought we were lucky to come away with a draw given our first half performance. Proud of the team for the last 20 mins of the 2nd half, where we probably looked more likely to score until their wasted chance late on. We really need Danilo to be able to start games as soon as possible and Lawrence and Matondo to get themselves back and available.

Am I the only one optimistic one? I think we'll come away with a win - it may not be pretty but I'm confident of 3 points. C'mon the Gers!

I'm impressed. We now have a manager who knows what he wants and, as importantly, how to get it. Let time be our friend with Clement, and I am confident he will bring success to this club.

Great news. I voted for Muscat in the 2nd poll, but was changing my mind daily. When I saw that Clement was appointed, I was relieved and I think it's the best appointment we could have made. As a support, we need to give the guy time, and I think it will take time to right all the wrongs that have plunged us from 55 to where we are now. I also hope he has a Scot in his management team.
