  1. Those players will be given a clean slate when the new manager comes in, I suspect. The only new manager bounce I expect see is a dead cat bounce. I therefore expect another rebuild next summer. We will not win a title with Tav, Goldson, Barisic, Lammers, Dessers. Thankfully, Barisic, Lundstram and Jack contracts are up next summer, but I fear Tav and Goldson will continue here. God knows what we do with £8m worth of forward duds, I don't see any potential in them at all.
  2. Add now, partying, diet, computer games and social media
  3. I voted Muscat, even though his spell in Europe was dire. Clement, for some reason, reminds me of Le Guen (that's an unfair comparison, I know), and I'd rather stick with someone that knows at least a bit about British/Scottish football (again, possibly an unfair preferrence).
  4. That list seems to be getting smaller....I'm being tongue-in-cheek here, but maybe the outcome is closer to home 😂 4/7 John Eustace - we heard from H&H that he's not being considered. 9/4 Philippe Clement - media reporting he's #1 target for Saudi Club - and likely massive wages 5/1 Kevin Muscat - odds lengthening because he was on record as saying he will se out the season (December) at Yokohama 10/1 Pascal Jansen - AZ are 2nd place in the league, doing really well. He was reported to have said that considering Rangers approach is 'out of the question' 12/1 Wayne Rooney - reported to be on Birminghams radar after sacking John Eustace 20/1 Frank Lampard - we heard he is no longer being considered. That leaves 12/1 Steven Davis or 16/1 Derek McInnes
  5. He was onside and got the shot away, surely you can't expect much more from him.
  6. Says a lot when we're 1-0 up, playing 10 men St Mirren, that we hope we can 'hang on' for a win. Honestly, not been good enough as usual, but St Mirren have handed us an opportunity here.
  7. Is it though? Beaten by Kilmarnock, beaten by Aberdeen at home 3-1, beaten by the weakest celtic team in a decade, pumped by PSV, beaten by a team lower ranked than Progres Niederkorn. Type of results not seen since before Gerrard joined us in 2018.
  8. Fully agree. I don't think he was the right man anyway, so bullet dodged if that's the case.
  9. I’m not talking about Lampard or McInnes, are we saying there aren’t any good managers north or south of the border that we could attract?
  10. I fear that Clement will be Le Guen mk2. I’m not sure about foreign managers, personally I’d rather have the best Scottish or British manager we can find.
  11. So it's Muscat then. It was always going to be Muscat.
  12. Sorry to hear that. Condolences and thoughts with the Ferguson Family. 💙
  13. Wishing you a speedy recovery Michael 💙
  14. I'll never want to see Tav, Golson, Barisic selected again. They haven't been worthy of a Rangers shirt for a long time and I genuinely believe we'll never win anything else whilst they remain first team players. So If I were Davo/Rae, I'd bring in Souttar to his preferred RCB slot, Balogun to partner him on the left - both will be more capable than Goldson/Davies. If Ridvan is fit, he should start and Sterling to be given a shot in his natural RB position. Jack to come back in the CDM along with Raskin and Rice in a midfield 3 and give McCausland a start in a forward three with Roofe playing middle and Sima on the left. 4-3-3. Butland Sterling - Souttar - Balogun - Yilmaz Raskin - Jack - Rice McCausland - Roofe - Sima However, Davis will never make these changes unfortunately.
  15. Have McCallum lead the B Team against St Mirren on Sunday. I've had it with this shower.
