  1. Fully agree. I don't think he was the right man anyway, so bullet dodged if that's the case.
  2. I’m not talking about Lampard or McInnes, are we saying there aren’t any good managers north or south of the border that we could attract?
  3. I fear that Clement will be Le Guen mk2. I’m not sure about foreign managers, personally I’d rather have the best Scottish or British manager we can find.
  4. So it's Muscat then. It was always going to be Muscat.
  5. Sorry to hear that. Condolences and thoughts with the Ferguson Family. 💙
  6. Wishing you a speedy recovery Michael 💙
  7. I'll never want to see Tav, Golson, Barisic selected again. They haven't been worthy of a Rangers shirt for a long time and I genuinely believe we'll never win anything else whilst they remain first team players. So If I were Davo/Rae, I'd bring in Souttar to his preferred RCB slot, Balogun to partner him on the left - both will be more capable than Goldson/Davies. If Ridvan is fit, he should start and Sterling to be given a shot in his natural RB position. Jack to come back in the CDM along with Raskin and Rice in a midfield 3 and give McCausland a start in a forward three with Roofe playing middle and Sima on the left. 4-3-3. Butland Sterling - Souttar - Balogun - Yilmaz Raskin - Jack - Rice McCausland - Roofe - Sima However, Davis will never make these changes unfortunately.
  8. Have McCallum lead the B Team against St Mirren on Sunday. I've had it with this shower.
  9. Either of them would be better than Beale, the guy you voted for last year. 😜
  10. If you could choose only between Lampard or McInnes, who would you rather?
  11. My bad. I deleted it when I noticed, you were too quick to quote me. 😂
  12. What about McInnes? If he hadn't knocked us back previously (which shouldn't be the only reason not to consider him), would anyone see him as an option? I'd certainly prefer him to many of the names linked.
  13. The board did the right thing in letting Beale go, however I wish they had made the decision earlier, in fact I agree with those that say he should never have been appointed in the first place. I like the interim appointments, and I think they will be just that (they'll manage a handful of games at most). But I think they do have the ability to navigate a few games and instil some much needed confidence in the side. I don't see them changing things much in terms of selection, after all we are limited due to injuries, maybe just having players play in their best positions would be good. I don't expect them to perform miracles, just keeping the ship from sinking. The board really need to appoint a DoF before they do anything else, they need help with the recruitment of a new manager. They cannot afford to get it wrong again. We now need an experienced manager, someone that is no-nonsense, will command player respect, employs an attacking style of play, and has had successes with that - whether that be titles or has punched well above their weight in a certain league. I don't think there are any obvious candidates and most of the names I've seen bandied around do not fill me with confidence. The best out of work managers are probably Hansi Flick and Zinedine Zidane, but would either consider us/could we afford to lure them here? Don't think so. I don't think Potter or Jansen would even come here right now. Realistically, I think it would be more likely to be someone like Knutsen, Parker, McInnes or Muscat. However, I hope the board don't rush into anything, as I said, let's get a DoF on board and then take our time. I'm fine with Steve David and Alex Rae being there and doing what they can in the meantime.
  14. I've blocked that game from my mind, so I now can't remember who was the least worst.
  15. We play St. Mirren Away on the 8th Oct and Hibs at Home on the 21st Oct. The international break is in between those games.
  16. Going by his demeanour at the post match press conference, I'd say that he knows his time has come.
