According to more than one source - including Kris Boyd on the radio a few months ago - Miller is on a very low wage at Rangers as he’s already made his money in England and America so isn’t motivated by it. I don’t know why I bothered posting that as it won’t stop the snide digs like the ones above. I think some make up wee scenarios in their head and then twist the facts to suit.

If they feel they’ve been harshly treated then they have every right to appeal. I don’t see why people are getting sanctimonious about it when they don’t know what actually went on.

My fear is that expectations will be far too high, any dropped points will be treated as a disaster and if we fall behind Celtic then the fans will turn on the team and manager. The pressure will increase, the players will fold and we’ll be looking for a new manager by January. It doesn’t take much effort to imagine such a scenario as it’s the pattern we’ve followed since we came back up.

Age doesn’t matter ffs. It’s real life not Championship Manager. Walter’s best signing in his second spell was probably Davie Weir. The problem is we can’t really afford anyone who can perform at a high level consistently as they cost money, regardless of age.

He was some signing. Walter certainly had an eye for a defender. He’s spot on about the SPL refusing to help us on 2008 too.

I'm excited even though I’m consciously aware that this has the potential to go horribly wrong - would anyone really be surprised if he’s gone be January? I’m not thinking logically about this though, I’ve fully bought into it and am excited anout events at the club for the first time in years.

Alcoholism is a disease. I sympathise with Pena in his fight and applaud him in his efforts to curtail it. What a terrible signing he was though. A relatively large fee and, presumably, generous wages wasted. All the warning signs were there about him and his problems off the pitch.

I’ve heard big DJ defend us plenty of times on Clyde. I think some seem to expect him to shout down any and all criticism of Rangers no matter how justified it is. Any less than that then he’s apparently in dereliction of duty and his exploits as a player forever tarnished. I cant get my head around that at all.
