  1. England team you did your country proud.

Against all expectations you achieved a place in the semi final of the World Cup - hold your heads high!

Faster, stronger, better four years from now. No fear!

  2. Thanks for enlightening me D'Art.

I guess most fans just want to see positive headlines.

Supporters reading between the lines of "business deals" does not happen often and suits certain folk - me included.

I need to scrutinise things more carefully in future.

It's only going to get worse as we start to compete again.

No doubt about that. Expect all the same old sh1t to be thrown at us by the usual suspects.

Their obsession is their weakness and our opportunity.

  4. Just when we thought there was little left to be said about Spiers's self loathing, once again he plumbs new depths of depravity and hate.

His ongoing irrational and deeply rooted psychological issues with Rangers, as well as I guess the Loyal Orders and those who do not fit his body image profile, are as distasteful as they are pathetic.

His constant need to lash out suggests he urgently requires some serious professional psychiatric help.

It's obvious he is unable to resist his urges.

The likes of hubz have had a recent purple patch by their indisputably typically mediocre at best standards.  It wont last and when it begins sliding back to the their usual poor to mediocre they will be whining for us to come finance them again.  I hope we don't.

An example of what their usual is.  Take season 2011/12

    Highest attendance (15,281)

    Lowest attendance (6,923)

    Average attendance (9,909)

I'm all for reclaiming the Broomloan for our own and am delighted about it but those figures for hivs attendances are so old now (11/12) they are obsolete.

Not much use to us in terms of the discussion.

I think I, and any poster, will post whatever they want and leave it to admin to decide what should or shouldn't be posted, I also wouldn't dream of telling any poster what to post or not!

Fair enough, but each time any of us quote his pathetic anti-Rangers ramblings he is getting off on it.

I'd prefer to deny the buffoon that sick pleasure.

They have won more games in a row than us since clarke took over than we have all season. Could be wrong but also think he drew with them first game too then beat them. Not sure if there were defeats in between. Clarke will wipe the floor with murty and gerrard tactically, only thing on our side is cash. Absolutely dreadful decision to not bring in clarke but another rookie instead.

Give clarke our resources and he will make a better fist of it than we have.

Seen in paper couple weeks back since he has took over hes only 6 points off celtic and would be second in the league if we had all started then.  5 wins in a trot is more than any other top half team has managed. Something like 29 points from 46. At kilmarnock thats incredible

Ok buddy, go talk to the board and sort out his appointment as new Rangers manager. If he wins us the title or even narrows the gap I'll be delighted.

I'm checking out until next season when hopefully we are in much better shape.

    This is so very tiresome.

    Correct.

On the other hand Kilmarnock did manage to beat Celtic this season.

    Your point being?

Beating Celtic once in a blue moon will not win any other team the league title.

Yes, Roddy Forsyth tends to say something, only when he knows it's relevant and accurate.

    Three issues ???

Would seem encouraging that player spend wouldn't appear to be one of them.

    Possibles

    - Personal Terms/contract/Image rights

    - Support staff / contracts

    - Authority level within complete football operation / DoF

    What else ?

Such a pointless news article from Forsyth. Without elaborating on the three unresolved issues it's meaningless.

Then again, it's got Steven Gerrard and Rangers in the title so I suppose it's guaranteed a few hits.  The hint of negativity will also have the green and grey ones all over it.

About as likely as the bunch of fan dancers and pantomime dame who pitched up at the piggery today.

No argument from me on that.

My point is more about gisabeer's mention of lack of money. Clarke has done well but without substantial cash (whatever team) Celtic will continue to go unchallenged in any meaningful way. It's a cake walk for them every season.

Steve Clarke didn't need a bucket load of cash at Kilmarnock. he has worked wonders with a bunch of mediocre players.   it's not all about money.

Kilmarnock are also very unlikely to ever win the SPL.

McCoist, Warburton, Pedro and Murty are all managers with little or no experiencing coaching at a decent level. They all failed. Of course a rookie is the last thing on God's green earth we need. This regime is just like the last two - clueless.

SBS, what would it take to make you happy again buddy?

The only answer I can think is is a time machine or a fairy Godmother.....just saying pal.

Our current reality is a b***h.

In my heart of hearts........we need a manager with experience.......the only reason I can see  we'd go for a rookie is we couldn't get anyone else. ...

There may well be something in that.

That said. I'm still excited at the prospect of such a high profile top quality player coming in as manager. I assume he would be bringing some others into the management team with more experience.

Look, if odious creep Spiers and "middle of the road" English are vexed on Twitter by the thought of it then it is most likely a positive for us. They try to damage Rangers at every opportunity so if they say we are making a mistake and pretending they give a damn then I'm inclined to believe the opposite.

It is imperative that the Board get this appointment correct, because if they don’t our greatest rivals will be out of sight for many years to come.

They are already out of sight.

Would you have taken him over Mark, Pedro and Graeme? Look at the years wasted there!  I certainly would have.

I'm genuinely excited at the prospect of a manager with all those years of high level EPL and Champions League playing experience. Although I'm not at all convinced it's going to happen.

What's one more roll of the dice when you look at the state we are in? Could turn out to be a master stroke.
