  1. Genuinely is that the kind of thing 'that lot' are picking up on now? Unless you've got some ridiculous, non-standard, awful design (*cough* green n white hoops *cough*) most kit manufacturers are going to go with really similar designs for each of the teams they do business with. After seeing the Denmark top the other night (and the Forrest one as well) I think the new Rangers top will be something really similar to those (in blue, obviously) and I don't think that will be a bad thing. It is mental the kind of daft wee things that 'that lot' will try to spin into a negative story.
  2. Russia 2-1 Egypt - Joker Portugal 2-0 Morocco Uruguay 1-0 Saudi Arabia Iran 0-4 Spain Denmark 1-1 Australia France 2-1 Peru Argentina 0-1 Croatia Brazil 1-1 Costa Rica Nigeria 0-1 Iceland Serbia 2-0 Switzerland Belgium 2-0 Tunisia South Korea 2-0 Mexico Germany 2-1 Sweden England 4-0 Panama Japan 3-0 Senegal Poland 2-2 Colombia
  3. So... they've managed to claw back the expenses (or some of the expenses) of taking the oldco to court? As in, they've broken even - or to put it another way - in exactly the same position they would've been if they hadn't taken them to court? Well woop-de-do I suppose.
  4. Might as well have a go at this as too: Russia 0-0 Saudi Arabia (Group A) Egypt 1-1 Uruguay (Group A) Morocco 1-0 Iran (Group B) Portugal 2-1 Spain (Group B) France 2-1 Australia (Group C) - Joker Peru 0-1 Denmark (Group C) Argentina 1-0 Iceland (Group D) Croatia 2-0 Nigeria (Group D) Costa Rica 1-0 Serbia (Group E) Brazil 2-0 Switzerland (Group E) Germany 2-0 Mexico (Group F) Sweden 3-0 South Korea (Group F) Belgium 3-0 Panama (Group G) Tunisia 2-0 England (Group G) Colombia 1-2 Japan (Group H) Poland 3-0 Senegal (Group H)
  5. 4 Lads Had a Dream retweeted this - I'm more likely to believe 4 Lads than IN.
  6. I totally agree - Candeis was, probably by a country mile, the most consistant player in the team (in a positive way - there were plenty of consistently sh*te players as well).
  7. I'll admit it... I laughed at that, right after I groaned
  8. Darren McGregor was the POTY in 2015...
  9. Is there any other info on this loan deal - is there an option for Blackpool to buy him at the end? It seems strange for us to hang on to the guy and continually fire him out on loan, if we've got no intention of keeping him.
  10. I can get behind this decision; extra cash for the club, it isn't really changing anything that could put the clubs reputation at risk... ...which is why I'd be torn if they decided to rename the stadium as well. I appreciate it'd be another bit of cash to the club, but I can't help feeling that stadiums named after sponsors are a bit ...tacky? Are there genuinely people out there who think 'Well, our team is sponsored by Etihad* - I can't use any other airline*!" I know we'd all still call it Ibrox, but it'd be like selling your soul or something. Renaming the training ground is meaningless as far as I can tell. *change sponsor/product as applicable
  11. Exactly what I was going to say - the sticking point wasn't the transfer fee; it was the wages. If Morelos does go, better using the cash to buy a couple of decent, younger players, than bowing to Skrtel's wage demands.
  12. That's an insult to primary 6 pupils all over the country.
  13. I know the Sun talks sh*te, but I think referring to MOH as a 'Rangers ace' is taking it a step too far...
  14. That annoys the hell out of me too. I guess it's just because the word 'Rangers' appears somewhere in the title/article - but it also shows how obsessed that lot can be about us! I've clicked on a couple of them before and went to blogs that have more articles about Rangers on them, than Celtic - it even had the tagline "Obsessed With Celtic" along the top of the page, without a hint of irony. That would be hilarious, if it wasn't so sad.
  15. I think Gilmour is being polite in this interview. When he says Scott Brown would have 'bullied' him, he actually means 'hacked'.
  16. "Yeah, I managed to get off the booze, thankfully. The cocaine though..."
  17. Easy to say with hindsight, but I can't help wondering if Stevie G had been in charge when Gilmour was here - instead of Caixinha - if his presence would've been enough to persuade Billy to stay here.
  18. HITC is the worst football site on the net. Clickbaiting of the highest order.
  19. 36 years old? Surprised we've no signed him again to shore up the back line...
  20. Is it a failing of the youth academy though, or a failing on the 1st team, for not using more younger players? As far as I can tell, the youth teams are performing admirably under Craig Mulholland's watch and producing some genuine talent. I think it's a bit of a catch-22. We need to blood in some young players, but the 1st team can't afford to take the risk, as the support demands that we win every game. And if the demands on the team are too much, we need to play proven 'talent' to try to win every game. To break through, the player needs to be of an exceptional quality and even if they are, the pressures to give 110% all of the time must be ridiculous. I think the idea of playing the reserve or B team in the lower leagues/cup matches would have bee a good way of getting the boys experience. But I'm pretty sure that was vetoed.
  21. Do you ever wish you hadn't bothered opening your mouth - or in this case, started a new post? I wish I hadn't posted that photo of the new (fake) strip.
  22. Agree with your last statement there. Its just a colour. If you equate the use of that colour as having another ulterior meaning, doesn't that make you a bigot for thinking that? Fact is, we'll use Rangers colours - red, white and blue - on the home strip, as expected. As far as I'm concerned, the away/3rd kit are open season and you can use any colour you like. Were black and illuminous yellow considered Celtic colours? People will see and think what they want to and we should let them. "No one likes us, we don't care", remember?
