  1. whereas the actions of those who support the revolving boards have brought us great football and sound finance
  2. Dave King is a supporter. He will invest but isn't going to bankroll nonsense. He'd be more open to fellow supporters aspirations and he will know what money he has won't keep us going indefinately. If we step up to the plate he will deal. There's no chance of that with the present lot including Ashley If Laxey throw in with Ashley then only a full boycott of games, merchandise and the rest will be needed. we have the power, we really do !...The whole shooting match depends on us in the end !
  3. There's no reason why we can't do what most of the Bundesliege have done. Why do some people think we can't do what the Germans have done................are we incapable ?...don't think so. I reckon there might be a faster way to achieve this is through Dave King who is actually a supporter, and we could be on the road to a 51% fan ownership. There's no way Ashley wants to (or can) buy us, he wants to protect and expand his commercial contracts. as I see it there could be a smooth transition through King or it's a revolution which will be painful in the short term. I see the board controlled fake Rangers supporters website are continuing to demonise all fans groups, King and anyone else who is a threat to the gravy train. Ashley seems to be the messiah.................
  4. bottom line is Wallace and Nash have done their job and looked for sources of investment. Ashley wanted the image rights they refused to give him. He wants them removed so he can get the image rights. ps Wallace and Nash are not the 70's band that topped the charts
  5. Newcastle United’s financial position is currently; 1. Mike Ashley has made clear Newcastle United has to live within its means, he isn’t going to put his own money in to subsidise the running of his club (asset). 2. The second part of the equation is that the income Newcastle bring in from commercial activities and match day revenue streams, is far lower than that of those top six and much of a muchness now with clubs such as Everton, Villa and others. this is from a Newcastle supporters website. Accounts for the years he's been in charge at Newcastle tell their own story. http://www.themag.co.uk/tyne-talk/ggg/ they clearly show revenues normally going into any club are diverted to Sports Direct
  6. if Wallace and Nash have indeed been talking to King in defiance of the Easdale faction then surely they deserve some credit for it.
  7. The fans have a stronger hand than the votes they can muster at any EGM. Concerted efforts like this, throw in McGill's buses, don't buy Ashley's products could pay dividends
  8. I read yesterday that Wallace and Nash had a meeting with King. Is that why they're being chopped ?
  9. what did he do for Loyds Bank that they gave him 110% mortgage !
  10. Now he is delighted to see the 20-year-old Gers star continue his superb comeback from injury and illness by shining for club and country. Macleod has become a key part of Ally McCoist's plans since making his Light Blues debut three years ago. He helped them clinch the Third Division and League One titles, but missed the closing stages of each campaign. After fighting his way back to full fitness, the midfielder has shown his class in the Championship and netted the only goal on Tuesday as Gers beat Premiership outfit Inverness Caley Thistle in the League Cup. McCoist has refused to heap extra pressure on Macleod's shoulders but Wotte reckons he is as good as any of his peers in Scotland. The SFA's Performance Director said: "We were very pleased with the comeback of Lewis, who wasn't able to play for six months. He is a very talented player. "Lewis is of the level of Ryan Gauld, who is now at Sporting Lisbon. Lewis was with the Under-18s and Under-19s when I started and I said he was one of the gems of his generation. "Then he got his setbacks because of a heart condition and a virus. They kept him out for over six months, which is always very hard to take for a young boy. "But I think Lewis has a great future in front of him. These players have composure. We tend to judge players by their ability but their ability also has to be good when under pressure. "Boys like Ryan, Lewis and Aberdeen's Ryan Fraser can perform under pressure. They are in control of situations. "They have such good technique that they can dictate what the ball is doing instead of the ball dictating what they do." Macleod's fine form for Rangers was rewarded on the international stage earlier this month when he was recalled to the Scotland Under-21 squad. He then scored in the 3-0 win over Luxembourg after starring against Slovakia just days before. Macleod has proven he can handle the pressure of playing week in, week out for Rangers, and Wotte is delighted with the starlet's progress. The Dutchman said: "I was very encouraged to see Lewis back with the Under-21s. I think Scottish boys are very strong-minded and have a great mentality. But sometimes you have to manage the game and take better decisions. Decision-making is key at the top level. "When I came to Scotland everyone told me that we needed more technical players. I said yes, we have to drill the skill, but we also need to train the brain. Technique is always number one, but the decisions players make are very important, too." http://www.eveningtimes.co.uk/rangers/wotte-relief-to-see-return-of-rangers-star-lewis-181018n.25357429 How much did Ryan Gauld go for ? Interesting what Wotte says about "train the brain"
  11. I read various hints in the main stream wondering how long Graeme Wallace would be with us. Now I see from a very unreliable source (and Rangers hater) that he's on "gardening leave" and was only wheeled out for a photo op at Kirkaldy. Apparently he contacted Dave King a few weeks ago and is now on his way out. Nash has been filling in. Is it true ? Are there consequences we should be preparing for ?
  12. I thought at 30% you had to make an offer for the remaining shares..................but if that's wrong I hope someone will put me right
  13. aye........you wonder what motivates Reme Moses. you can't blame it all on tims on the wind up or useful idiots ( are there people who are idiotic to the degree of lunacy ?) You've got to think that money must be changing hands for the use of such a platform
  14. on the plus side, DK's not wanted by interpol nor a fugitive from justice.
  15. why do you doubt major changes could take place at boardroom level ?..............they've already had a merrygoround of different deckchairs on the Titanic and nothing different has happened. would you be bought off with changes on the board (and the big payoffs following ?)
  16. yep, he's fit to play. See yogi's at the mind games.....we're favourites he says got an admiration for Hughes..................his sides always try to play football
  17. There certainly are a group of fans who want to wait for everything. Over the last couple of years when it was obvious we were bleeding money, the same crowd were advocating we "wait for the accounts to be published" Well we see where waiting has got us ...........
  18. "I'm reminded of Communist Parties across the world where people are required to become cogs in unsympathetic political machines: 'The Party must come first'. " since the party is the only way the wishes of the working class can be implemented then of course the party must come first.
