Well taken and well created. Good goal but a poor performance overall. SG has shown he can shake the team up at half-time and hopefully we'll see an improvement second half.

How sad is that the country that invented the modern game has a national stadium with poor 'sight lines'? Still...what a pathetic attitude from Aberdeen.

It is what it is, he'll make some donations to charity and he'll make some cash for himself.
Punters can decide if they want to contribute to the pot.
Ludicrous that modern players are given testimonials given what they earn over their careers.

I am not learned enough to pass judgement on any medical issues...
Once you realise the the plural of anecdote is not data it helps in understanding the scientific method. I think most of us have some reservations when it comes to these pitches but actually none of the actual science shows any detectable increase in cancer risk or confirmation that injuries are more common.

Does that mean Six Fingers will pay all the money to charity? He should but it's not worded that way.

It's actually very common for the loaning club to insert game time clauses these days.
I notice in Football Manager that when loan clauses are negotiated the owner club will sometimes ask for a higher percentage of the player's wages be paid by the loaning club if he doesn't play in the first team. Don't know how accurate that is.

Can't agree with the former but do with the latter...
The very first qualifier for the Rangers HoF is that the club should be your main team of your career. That is not the case with Gascoigne. Same applies to Butcher, for example.

Shouldn't be in Rangers HoF, let alone Scotland's.

There was a really good blog from a couple of months ago that highlighted some of the issues that Morelos had with his finishing particularly. Namely that he wasn't making front post runs and that he was constantly trying to finish off his back foot, thus causing him to be off balance and snatch at chances he should have been putting away.
Fast forward a couple of months and I'm seeing a much improved striker that has a greater clarity of thought process and that is breeding extra confidence in his game. His backheel flick on Sunday was simply outstanding and an example of how he is putting right the various things that I mentioned above, not withstanding his all round contribution which has remained of a high standard even when he wasn't scoring.I think he is also making improvements in relation to critics over his attitude and demeanor. This may be linked to the return to goalscoring form, but I would wager that a large part of this is due to the management team working with him and really tapping into what makes him tick in order to get the best out of him.
For me he's a 8/10 striker, with a potential to be a 9 if he can squeeze a few more goals out and hit 30+ this season.
He was also selfish to a fault, I think that's improved as well.

Interesting, I dont really see much Anelka in him. He reminds me a bit like Daniel Cousin who could be unplayable on his day.
I mean in his demeanour, at times.

Hearts goal killed the game but overall a great performance and a vital three points.

Don't think Hearts did a lot wrong. Another excellent half from Rangers.

I rate him as I did after a few games for the club; an excellent acquisition. Yes he has a touch of the Anelka's about him but I also think he has always been harshly judged by many Bears and his faults aren't as bad as is being made out.

Look at the recent farce about Sir Cliff Richard. Condemned in court after court, costs of over £1m awarded against them, God knows how much public money wasted on their own legal costs ... and they still won't concede they did a single thing wrong. The BBC, as a matter of course, never ever backs down.
A quick google search shows this to be false.

It did look a bit iffy when during the draw Michael Stewart's hands moved behind the counter before producing a ball.
Haha. Truth is they probably would cock it up if they tried a fix. I don't get what the Blue Tims are on about with that anyway...why the paranoia over a fixed draw? I don't see how it's to anyone's advantage that the Old Firm are drawn together.

I thought the draw would be fixed so we'd play Celtic? Somethings gone wrong.

Would you have a young Paul Gascoigne back at the club?
I was done for being over the legal alcohol level in a car when I was 19. I am now 61 should I still be paying for it after 40 years of safe driving. Thankfully the Government doesn't think that because I held down a top security job for years after.
Cummings probably paid for the damage of his own things. If he wrecked a dressing room of the club (or Opponents) I may think different.
The person that has never made a mistake in life has still to be born and never will be born.
Actually I wouldn't have signed Gascoigne; there's a reason a lot of the big English/European clubs didn't want him. But in any case, he was an exceptional player and most would argue that it was worth taking him on. Cummings is nowhere near as good a player. People are arguing whether he's good enough for this squad, while no one would say Gascoigne was not good enough for the great squad (that was already dominant in Scotland) we had then.
I get that, who gives a shit what he does with his own stuff? The point is that this behaviour, again, assuming it's him, shows that he is mentally unstable and not worth the risk. It's not just a 'mistake'.

The only times he has ever performed are in the second tier in Scotland and the third in England. We need better than that.
It's not always about ability; I think you should sign the man first and the player second. Obviously you sometimes take the chance on an exceptional talent (Gascoigne for example); Cummings is no where good enough to take a punt on.

Let's assume this is Cummings in this video. Are there still Bears out there that would have him at our club?

If that's actually him...what a tosser. Glad we never signed him; don'tunderstood why so many bears were blowing smoke up the 'Cumdog's' arse.

No it was a charter. 100 fans on it as well.
Okay...thought it must have been. I still think the trip is being understated by people saying we were in Russia. UFA is nearly a thousand miles east of Moscow.
