Great to see him doing so well.
Claudio Cannigia, Nacho Novo and Glen Kamara. That's three absolute bargains we've had from Dundee.

It's so you know what you're playing for, right from the start of the season.
Right. Next season we could have two places up for grabs when the season starts.

Yes your correct , however there are still 2 games each for both Scottish sides plus celtic are already qualified, if you look at the difference in points it's very close , that's why I said 12th , I actually edited to say 13th is the more realistic end point .
However as I said that can gave it's own draw backs as you gave 5 teams and you need all of those teams to earn points .
...and Rangers and Celtic will play fewer qualifiers, which, even though points are halved, can be relatively easy pickings. No doubt it will be difficult to hold the position if we have a fifth club.
It's still very speculative I suppose as there's a lot of teams from rival countries still in Europe.

This is of critical importance to younger fans these days. They're all brought up with the FIFA/PES culture where it's all about the player names, and in particular the stars.
It's been that way for a long time. My sons support Chelsea and Arsenal (they grew up in southern Britain) but actually as they were first getting interested in the game they became big fans of Giofranco Zola and Terry Henry which led to their club support.

The blurb at the top of this list explains it:
https://www.footballseeding.com/country-ranking/a2019-2020/
Next season we still have the normal Champions League and Europa League. The enhanced ranking kicks in the following year when the conference league kicks off.
I still don't see it. The last five years count therefore 2015-16 will drop off and this years tally added.
If I'm wrong so is The Herald. Quote: As it stands, Scotland would be 14th* in the coefficient table next season with two Scottish sides qualifying for the Champions League qualifiers.
* I assume they are allowing for Scotland only losing 3.0 points from 15-16 whilst our rivals lose more (bar Cyprus who also only lose 3 points).

Just remember guys , where we end up this season , and 12th is a strong possibility , only puts us the season after next , these results don’t change next years seedlings .
Do you have a source for that?

Has to be Morelos again. The excitement of such a great result is somewhat disguising the fact that we didn't play all that well. Morelos changed the game as great players do (with a little help from Jack and Tav).

Another great night for Scotland as we move above Serbia and Greece into 16th place but those pesky Cypriots are keeping us out of 15th place as APOEL won again.

Not long in. What can I say? What’s night, what a game and I LOVE Alfredo Morelos!!!! ? What a player! I feared the worst in the first half tbh but the second was incredible. Arfield made a huge difference when he came on as Barker was anonymous and looked out his depth. Amazing night, just fantastic. WATP!
I want to change my top five favourite players list. ?

I watched the 3-3 draw on Solihull Moors TV and you could hear Tom Miller shouting in the background when the equaliser went in. ?
Great result; on paper they are better than Wrexham but no doubt it'll be another tough physical test for the youths.

Some good performances from Kent and Jack but Morelos has to have it.
Special mention for the groundsman. Was expecting a bit of a ploughed field given the weather and a game 24 hours before but the pitch looked great.

Not great quality but still worth a watch:

Ojo played fine and linked well with others for most of the game. His final ball and decision-making still weren't as good as they could be but he and the manager will know that and feel it can get better.
Davis, Kamara and Morelos were our best players yesterday: most others played well enough as well after a fairly slow start.
I thought Kent was better than all but Morelos. An assist, involved in the other two goals, hit the post. Dynamic dribbling as usual, looked a real threat, if a bit raw at times.

Bit of a cakewalk in the end and well deserved it was too.

I remember watching that live on TV.

The footwork of Aribo is astounding at times. I sometimes don't know if they're constantly deliberately fouling him or if he's just so fast and tricky they can't help but take him out as those feet flash around twisting here and there.
Yes I think there would be a lot more talk of him but for Jack's excellence. Good to see him looking like the player he was earlier in the season.

The difference in his performances now that his attitude is more mature is great. What are we talking about now in terms of sale price - £30m?
At the time I thought Defoe's arrival might put his nose even further out of joint but it seems to have had the opposite effect.

No Ostenstad, Capucho, Sebooooooooooooo ?
Sebo's a club legend man. ?
I think I'd have Bernard on a dud list.

I dont recall that but I'm happy to trust your memory which very possibly is much better than mine?
I didn't see him live in his early days but Rangers fans online were certainly not happy with him. This was back before these type of forums but I remember defending him for a while on Usenet in the Rangers group. Most didn't rate him although the majority of the team were being slagged TBF.

Jack...might have won MotM it even if he didn't score two very good goals.

2 goals short.
Thought we were going to get the usual late couple when Defoe came on but nothing seemed to go for him on this occasion.

Not booking Spence before half-time was disgracefully lenient.
Madden has a history of allowing our players to be assaulted but red cards them at the first opportunity.
When I saw the replay I thought so too but that wasn't my first reaction. Overall Madden was okay last night, (not based on any previous performances), at least by Scottish football standards.

I wouldn't have given a penalty for that and I thought Madden was okay.
There were moans about his performance before kick-off. Madden could have booked a few more but overall his performance was okay.

You're right, he was signed as a centre back because the ones he had already signed (Svensson) were rubbish. Ultimately Papac got moved to left back where he made the position his own, but he didnt exactly start poorly at Rangers and then come good, he was fairly solid all the way through his Rangers career.
Fans were calling for him to be dumped. He did have a poor start.
Also...Ricksen was 'rehabilitated' before moving to midfield.

When was the last time we had so many bargain buys in the squad? Alfredo Morelos, Glen Kamara and Joe Aribo are three examples of very good business.
