  1. Bluedell stated that what I heard happened wasn't true whether the bounced cheque led to what I heard happened is true or not I feel unless the truth is told then there will always be 'stories / rumours'...
  2. This is one of the reasons I'm a Commie EVERYTHING HAS TO BE AIRED IN THE OPEN! No one's voices should be silenced - if people find free speech offensive I'd question THEIR motives. Paul Murray has already stated that if it was damaging to Rangers for Dave King to be involved then Dave would respect that and do what he could to help Rangers without being on the Rangers board. I'm sure Paul would have the same belief about Mark as tbh he's much less important than Dave King. I can't say what's happening on ff or rm because I'm banned by their admin for questioning their abuse of (little as it is) power! I have to say though I find a lot of their attitudes very divisive for Rangers!
  3. That would be good too but I'd say the Portocabin (home and away) is best because human nature being what it is fans wanna be seen 'stepping up to the plate' and to be honest it is much more empowering to them. For far too long we have been treated as customers rather than what we are. We are the heartbeat of Rangers FC - We Are The People!
  4. With there being no Rangers News etc it would seem the most obvious route to take. Can't see the 'JJB store' giving over some room... Should be fairly simple promoting it at the remaining games this season and taking names etc.
  5. Seems to me the number of online 'pledgers' are gonna peter out at around the 15,000 mark. As others have said there's many Rangers fans that don't go on the internet so with that in mind why don't the group organise a Portocabin to promote the scheme and collect more names and pledges? Good idea or not?
  6. My thinking too. Also, I'm still of the opinion that Jardine does nothing to warrant a salary. I'm putting my lot into SaveRangers because I'd hope hangers-on like Sandy, Carmichael and Mason would be shown the door.
  7. He does seem to be 'losing it' a bit. The Administrators have said Ally McCoist will be helping with talks with possible buyers. I'm sure before he gives the thumbs up he'll have made the necessary phone calls to Paul Murray who I would imagine would have enough contacts to find out if anything is 'iffy'. Like most of us Gers fans these are trying times so we should excuse him if he gets too het up and worried at times. Recently he'd mentioned a pal of Whytes going along with the Admin men to see Minty - still can't figure that out, but then I'm just a simple man.
  8. I think the same will be said of Dave King mate. I think he's okay but public perception is important and if the media are gonna try and be divisive maybe we need to be extra extra careful not to give them any opportunity to divide the Rangers support? I'm off now - nice wee site btw.
  9. That sounds like you're describing Robert McElroy! ;-) :-)
  10. Years ago i got a book (brand new) off him for half price so i think he's brand new tbh. As i say, that is what i heard at the time, just wish Bluedell would give us a clue soon as i finish work (Night Porter at the mo) at 8am... C'mon Blue. :-)
  11. Prey tell Bluedell, there's that many stories that does the round can you clear it up.
  12. So, what was the story Bluedell? Was it another member of the RST that did that?
  13. That's fine no problem - that's just what i heard at the time, must've picked it up wrong then.
  14. Kind of begs the question as to why Paul Murray has them in the Consortium - can't be as simple as Tom English says...
  15. Well done Steven! I'd heard (at the Hearts game) that he and Kyle Lafferty were the ones stalling the process. Never thought that would be true of Steven, though with Kyle you get the feeling that the continued attacks from the filth on him are weighing him down a bit and he'd rather be for the off. Soooo many rumours and tbh one of the things i'm looking forward to (once we hopefuly secure the clubs future) is to not listen to any rumours at all - Rangers giving us clear statements when things return to a better footing and we're on the road to paying our debts.
  16. Craig Whyte... Think people are being too critical of Rangers supporters there. I wanted the Paul Murray & Dave King consortium to get in there before Whyte but, i think like most people once he was actually in there we felt we should back our owner... ...and then there was the fact that the BBC went after him, when that happened i think a lot of us thought if they don't like him maybe he's alright after all. I've been watching the series 'The Perfect Spy' recently and the Ray McAnally character seems to be the same as Whyte, a kinda Billy The Liar man who probably tells that many lies he can't separate them from the truth. When you think of him going in with the fans etc you begin to think not only was he a liar but he was taking the cunt too! Hopefully we're well shot of him.
  17. Maybe you have a point there as it's all down to perception. I know the fella and he's 100% Rangers and i just think that what he did was an oversight in his part, maybe he was pressed for time and that it'd be okay because he'd pay it back (which he did) but the thing is once there's a wee bit of mistrust it grows... I'll bet he's really regretting doing what he did. There's a line that you don't cross but sometimes that line can be a bit vague. I'd hope those with doubts would realise that he's a real bluenose, and not a dodgy character.
  18. It does seem to point at a lack of cash from Paul and his pals. Either that or it's his opinion they have to be dealt with, so i'd imagine their involvement would end when they'd got their cash back... I get the feeling Ticketus won't be losing out on that £24 Million after all.
  19. Like it. My view is that 'if' they're consistent then surely the 20p in the pound would be what they'd put forward. Of course 20p in the pound 'if' we're talking £75 million is a lot of 20p's! I would just seem to me to be silly for them to be playing hard ball when they'd be doing without so much income if Rangers are liquidated. It's not just Rangers of course because i think crowds would drop like lemmings if we're not taking part, as where is the sense in coming to football when every season you know it'll be Celtic that take as many trophies as they like. From my point of view at the end of this season would be the final season of competitive football in Scotland. It's a worry but i supose we have to (to a certain degree) be pragmatic as it's mostly out of our hands - we pledge the cash and cross our fingers that all will be well.
  20. You're probably right - just one of those things that irk me...
  21. I certainly don't want Ally to continue as manager, but i think it'd be only right that he continue in a PR role at the Stadium. We could do with shifting Jardine too and to be honest when John Greig was at Ibrox in a PR role it was really taking the piss - no offence to John but he's hardly the most diplomatic/articulate of men. I'd get an experienced man in like Jimmy Calderwood (unless Walter fancies another return) or even Craig Brown, as i feel they'll not be wanting (as Ally did) please all of the people all of the time, that was always gonna be Ally's achilles...
  22. Made my pledge fairly early on. Must say i do get upset looking in on the rangersmedia forum as some pore scorn on this because of perceived links with the RST and the followfollow forum. Very, immature that they can't see past those type of differences...
  23. I'd never thought of that - good point. Then there's also the players - these 'clauses' in their contracts, my take on that is that if Rangers go into liquidation then the players rightly wanna move on. Whatever the case there, it's important that someone takes over before the end of the season as the players will need motivation to stay and motivation coming from the new owners. From a personal point of view, i don't mind parting with my 'pledge' but it would be important for me to know that the new owners have reached an understanding CVA with the creditors as i don't want my cash going to a 'new' club. So what do you think HMRC's stand is going to be Zappa?
  24. In a perfect world they would but i get the feeling they're just chancing their arm. We played a friendly down there not long ago and they took the lot (if memory serves me right). It's not just about the money a lot would be down to the publicity gained for Rangers. I think had Celtic been in our position some clubs down south would've jumped at the chance. It's all down whether the English Club wants positive PR as with our club they wouldn't get that what with the media up here hating us and actively trying to make our situation worse. It seems to me that now we're going through a bad patch (hopefully just that) and we need assistance no one is coming forward with anything helpful to us... Just my feellings...
