  1. Some of this is fact, some of it fiction and most of it will fall somewhere in-betweenââ?¬Â¦Ã¢â?¬Â¦. Throwing together information I have received from a few sources, friends and Rangers ââ?¬Ë?peopleââ?¬â?¢, it appears that The Boy David has pulled off a master-stroke. Youââ?¬â?¢ll all know my feelings when it comes to the minted one, but even Iââ?¬â?¢ll admit that when he puts his mind to something, he usually gets what he wants. PLG and BF have been (un)willing participants in David Murrays latest brain-wave concerning Rangers Football Club. PLG was looking for a way out of Rangers as things were clearly not working out as planned (hence his ââ?¬Ë?damaging my reputationââ?¬â?¢ quote) and he wanted to become the next French National Coach ââ?¬â?? only heââ?¬â?¢s tied to a contract at Rangers. During the summer, Rino Gattuso made contact with David Murray (thro Walter Smith) and indicated that due to his family circumstances (his wife wants their kid(s) educated in Scotland), he wanted to return home. He was unable to move in the summer, but informed the minted one that he would be able to return in January (or this summer at the latest). As Rino let slip in an interview (which I posted on here) a deal had already been done, wages agreed and a timetable put in place for his return. Enter PLG ââ?¬â?? PLG wasnââ?¬â?¢t for having the Chairman decide what players we signed (as most Managers would) but knew that this particular hurdle would take 6 months before he would have to ââ?¬Ë?negotiateââ?¬â?¢ it. In saying that, maybe PLG secretly warmed to the fact that he would have one of the best midfield players in Europe in his squad. Here comes a problem ââ?¬â?? Rino mentions to The Minted one that he would ââ?¬Ë?preferââ?¬â?¢ to work under his Scottish father ââ?¬â?? Walter Smith and would love to Captain The Rangers. Ok, says The Boy David, not an issue. PLG wants a ticket out of Ibrox, Wee Bazza needs knocking down a peg or two. Get PLG to strip Bazza of the captaincy whilst assuring Bazza that he wonââ?¬â?¢t be sold and that PLG ââ?¬Ë?may not be aroundââ?¬â?¢ for much longer. Also, with Walter Smith in charge, backed up by ââ?¬Ë?Scotlandââ?¬â?¢ legend, Ally McCoist, certain young, in demand Scottish talent pledge their futures to Rangers Football Club and others indicate that they wouldnââ?¬â?¢t be adverse to working with them and sign from other Scottish clubs. Following The Scottish management team into Ibrox on Tuesday will be Andy Webster, Kevin Thomson and Scott Brown (deal for Brown is done and dusted, as I posted a few weeks back). Following them will be Murrayââ?¬â?¢s coup de gras Rino Gattuso either this month or in the summer. So, take from that what you want. Cammy F
  2. On the radio scotland programme tonight it started with some audio clips of PLG´s time at Ibrox. One PLG line was quite revealing.(before m´well game) Chick Dung was the interviewer and asked PLG for the reasons behind leaving BF out. PLG said: "No I can´t but maybe your friends can"
  3. With the likely appointment of Smith, McCoist and a-n-other to join Durrant, it looks like we are going back to basics. For some of us old skoolers, that is a welcome return to 2nd degrees, singing the sash and good old fashioned pish ups, before and after games (only joking). As Walter Smith proved with Scotland, if you get the basics right (proper defending, taking advantage of set-pieces, getting EVERY player giving 100%) the rest will take care of itself. IMO, we shouldn't expect fancy, free flowing football, but a return to the days when The Rangers were hard to score against, never mind defeat. Hopefully it'll also lead to a return to fortres IBROX where times litterly shit themselves when they emerged from the tunnel. Cammy f
  4. Whilst there remains some divison and confusion on what has happened over the last couple of days, this has been building since the last six months of Eck's tenure. The bottom line is that we are now a club with a chairman whio wants to sell, no manager, and unrest in the dressing room. As a financial venture, who is likely want to put their money into the club in its current position. Given Murray has been one of the UK's most successful businessmen in the last 20 years, it would have been nice if he could have applied some of that acumen to the club. Instead we have been through the worst debt period in the club's history, and now have a team that many bluenoses believe to be the worst they have ever seen at Ibrox. Murray must appoint a manager that regains both the fans confidence and stature of the club, even if it means digging deep into his pockets.
  5. GRAHAM SPIERS January 04 2007 What does everyone make of this? A good read IMO. It's not often Spiers comes out in the press and backs a Rangers manager. Pity he had to have a dig at the RST though.
  6. That there have been a few spats between leguen and ferguson over the last few weeks but the straw that broke the camels back was the trip to Newcastle. Leguen was 100% against the night out and let his feelings be known to all and sundry but fergie not only organised the night out but paid for the lot out of his own pocket! I can see where leguen starts to get pissed off! From what my man tells me its more of a personality clash between the two rather than football issues so dont hold your breath on the outcome suiting both parties.
  7. Its due at half time in today's games from Radio Scotland, so, what will it be? PLG has realised we can't defend and is signing Goughie? DM has left? We're close to making a signing that will "rock Scottish football" but never actually happen? PLG is to be given decent cash to spend? Another total non-story from Chick Dung? What do you think?
  8. seems they cancelled the 7.30 show. that will be the show that keeps you right up to date with all the goings on at Ibrox and murray park! The lack of information comming from rangers is a complete joke though and cancelling your own news bulletin because you dont like the news is a severe slap in the face for us fee paying punters. Just lets us know mr murray, if our money isnt good enough......
  9. Paul leguen has made an absolute c*nt of the managers job at Ibrox, there is no doubt about that fact. Under estimating the SPL and over estimating the squad he inherited are contributing factors but his biggest blunder was in the transfer market and the signings he brought in. They have made no impact whatso ever and we now find ourselves in a bigger mess than we were this time last year. Then again when you only get coppers to spend what do you expect? He came with a big pedigree and i doubt anyone at the time of his arrival doubted his ability but mr murrays moonbeam has now dissapeared behind the clouds of dispair. Big question is, where do we go from here? ideally murray needs to get the cheque book and spend at least 10 - 15 million to get our squad back into shape as its a pityful shell of what it used to be. we need two centre backs, a right back, another midfielder and a striker at least if we are to finish second in the SPL this season. On top of that we have to rid ourselves of the deadwood as well. that will be no mean feat when you consider the cost the last time paid off big marv and co. theres a couple of mill in there if you add it it up. The figures being banded about in the media report that leguen will have around 4-5 million max to spend in the transfer window so theres a bit of a cash difference from what ive been writing. But as usual we will be left hanging around over the next month as the transfer window slowly shuts in our faces but this time around our chairman wont be able to get away with empty hollow cryptic promises as he has done in the past. What he has to do is get the check book out and fix the damage done from years gone past when dick advocaat used fifty pound notes for arse paper. we are still paying the price of that era and we allways will as long as we are shopping in the bargain basement for players. 4 to 5 million wont sort us out mr Murray. Its your call!

i dont understand paul leguen. Kris boyd scores two goals in a game and he critisises him yet sebo runs around like a headless chicken for half a season and were told to give him time. This guy is a fucking passenger and the biggest joke at ibrox since ostenstaad pulled on a light blue jersey. Time to get rid.
  11. This is a guy I thought we should have signed some time ago. He wanted to come to Ibrox but our offer was short and we wouldn't pay the extra bit needed to secure him. Then at the start of this season I thought he wouldn't be up to the standard of Svensson & Papac, but now I'm not so sure. Looks like he could come back to a Scottish club on loan until the summer where he could then sign on a permanent deal. Does anyone else think he's worth a punt? I know he's not the commanding centre half we badly need, but he's got SPL experience and on the basis of what we've seen, I think he's better than any of our current centre halves. Of course, whether PLG would want to sign him is another thing entirely, but I'd rather see us signing someone who really wants to play for the club and knows what's expected of him at Ibrox.
  12. He seemed like a good prospect in the begining but it just seemed to cave in after his bust-up with le Guen.
  13. He say's he is proud to be the Rangers manager, surely he can see that a local guy is not only proud to play for Rangers but to also be captain. To be honest we are seeing an improvement and in my opinion playing better football than last year but we are far from the finnished article.

  15. http://www.fansfc.com/frontpage/frontpagenews.asp?newsid=160664 10:02 December, 20, 2006 Livorno striker Cristiano Lucarelli is reportedly a target for Ibrox boss Paul Le Guen Mail The FansFC Editor Send This Article To A Friend Post Your View on The Msg Board The 31-year-old has played for nine different clubs in his career but it is with his hometown side Livorno that he has shot to prominence over the past few seasons, scoring 29 goals in their promotion season 2003/04 and following that up with 24 in Serie A the following year. Consistently linked with a move away, Lucarelli has so far stayed loyal to Livorno, turning down a big-money move to Zenit St Petersburg this summer. I seriously cant see this happening. i dont think we could afford him tbh. would be a great signing tho

  17. KRIS BOYD could hand Rangers a festive filip by returning to the Ibrox strike-force sooner than expected. The prolific striker damaged his ankle in the 1-0 defeat at Falkirk on December 3 after a dreadful tackle from defender Kenny Milne. A scan showed ligament damage and the diagnosis from the Ibrox medical team was that Boyd would be out until the New Year, with the third round Scottish Cup tie at Dunfermline on January 7 his likely target. But Boyd has been getting intensive treatment at Murray Park after missing the matches against Hibs, Partizan Belgrade and Celtic. continued... And, while he will be guided by the Rangers medical staff's expertise on when he should return, the 23-year-old could be back before the year is out. That would be a massive boost for boss Paul Le Guen, with his team facing a testing schedule of four games in 10 days, starting with Saturday's high noon showdown at Aberdeen. Asked if he could be back sooner than expected, Boyd said: "I'm getting treatment all the time and we'll see what happens. I have to wait and see what the physio say in terms of timescale. I have to go with them. "Obviously it's very frustrating to be out injured and missing big games, but we'll see what the week brings." Boyd knew immediately that he was in bother when Milne clattered into him from behind at the Falkirk Stadium. He tried to play on, but quickly succumbed to the pain as he tried to run, and when he left the stadium on crutches after the final whistle it was clear there was a problem. But the former Killie hitman is a quick healer. He admitted: "I tried to get up and play on after the tackle came in, but I couldn't put any weight on it. "Of course it's a blow. But it's part and parcel of the game and every player goes through injuries and has to cope. "It's the downside of the game for a player, but you must look to work hard and get back to the good side, which is playing, as quickly as possible. "I've been fairly fortunate with injuries. Since coming to Rangers the only time I've been out was for the first game of the season at Motherwell which was due to suspension. "So sitting in the stand for big games like Hibs, the Uefa Cup match and Celtic has been frustrating. But you need to get on with it." Boyd, who has scored 30 goals in 32 starts since arriving from Rugby Park almost a year ago, no doubt kicked every ball at the weekend as Rangers fluffed decent chances against Celtic in the Old Firm clash that finished 1-1. There are no certainties in this game. But the Ibrox legions, who have tried to back and inspire £1.8million signing Filip Sebo all season as he goes through a lean time, would definitely have preferred Boyd to be one-on-one with Arthur Boruc in injury time rather than the Slovak, who drove his effort straight at the Pole. Whether Boyd would have made the difference on Sunday is up for debate, but he would have loved to be out there looking for his first goal against Celtic. As it was, his team-mates at least put up a show packed with pride and desire which, on another day, may well have carried them to the victory they wanted so badly. "We know it has been a disappointing season, but the last few performances have been good and we need to look to the future," said the Scotland man, who has bagged 11 goals in Light Blue this term. "It's about carrying on and trying to string together wins. We have to focus on the league with the Uefa Cup issue to one side now." Many theories have been offered on what's gone wrong at Rangers in the first half of the season under Le Guen. So much was expected of the former Lyon manager, but the league table makes painful reading with just nine wins at the 19- game halfway stage. There was also the terrible CIS Insurance Cup exit to St Johnstone which further damaged the confidence. "It's easy to say this and that about what's happened," says Boyd. "But we seemed to have been winning two and three games in a row and then dropping points at places like Falkirk, which just shouldn't happen with all respect. "But it has, and now we need to look forward. It's so important for us to try and keep the confidence growing and that does come through winning matches. "The more good results we get the better the team will come on and we must keep fighting in the SPL. It's going to be hard to close such a big gap but no-one will give up." Publication date 20/12/06
  18. The first part with Chick young is exellent. Strachen was eating love hearts when CY interviewed him after the game.
  19. I think these things should remain in house before a OF game
  20. RANGERS chairman David Murray has ruled out a January transfer window swoop for Wigan defender Andy Webster. The former Hearts stopper has again been mentioned as a possible solution to the centre-back problems at Ibrox. He was the target of a £1m bid by Alex McLeish 18 months ago, but Murray says he is not on Paul Le Guen's target list - for the moment. It is also believed Fifa red tape would prevent Webster moving back to Scotland just months after he became the first player to invoke their new employment rule. Webster served notice on Hearts he would be leaving after completing three years on a four-year contract. That allowed him to move for a nominal fee, set by a Fifa tribunal, to new employers outwith Scotland. The 24-year-old was snapped up by Wigan and, after a long process with Fifa because this was a ground-breaking case, he finally made his debut in October. But the Scotland star has played just three games and is said to be unsettled, sparking speculation Rangers were ready to move. "I know we were interested in him in the past, but not at the moment," Murray said. "How could we when we have no idea what the fee would be?" Murray also refused to comment on whether Rangers were interested in former Hearts captain Steven Pressley, who is also being tracked by Celtic, Newcastle, Southampton and Derby. It is believed Elvis is on Le Guen's list of possible January targets, and an interest has been posted with his agent Blair Morgan, but he is not the first choice. Le Guen has targeted two young centre-halves from Europe - one of which is believed to be Young Boys of Berne's 6ft 2in Ivory Cost stopper Steve Gohouri - a player the Gers boss has now watched twice recently. He could be available for around £1m, but is also being monitored by a host of mid-table Premiership sides. Le Guen's funds for a centre-half are likely to be boosted by the departure of Julien Rodriguez. The former Monaco man knows he is no longer first choice and could be shipped back to France with Rennes, Nantes and Nice all interested. The likes of Lionel Letizi, Gavin Rae, Phil Bardsley and Lee Martin are all likely to leave in January as Le Guen frees up money for three quality signings. Meantime, young Romanian sensation Marius Alexi could be on his way to Ibrox in a £250,000 deal. The 16-year-old plays with Dinamo Bucharest and is already a first- team player. Chelsea, Man United and Liverpool are all said to be looking at the midfielder, who will arrive in Glasgow shortly for a week's trial at Murray Park. A Dinamo spokesam said: "He is an exceptional player Rangers are very keen to sign." Bad news for us i think. Le Guen being interested in young Boys. I hope he now knows the type of CH you need to play in Scotland.
  21. PUNISH EVERY FAN NOT JUST THE OLD FIRM Bain demands ASBOS for all By Anthony Haggerty RANGERS chief executive Martin Bain last night leapt to the defence of the Old Firm as he welcomed new SFA plans to combat sectarianism. And he believes a new offence of unacceptable behaviour could see more clubs out with Rangers and Celtic land in the dock. Bain admitted there is a sectarian problem that is being addressed. But he insisted Rangers and Celtic cannot be blamed for all the ills in Scottish football and should not bear the brunt of all punishments. In a thinly-veiled swipe at Aberdeen in particular the Ibrox supremo maintained other clubs should be targeted for sanctions. Bain said: "It is not appropriate for people and their families to go to grounds, or have fans come to Ibrox, and listen to chants about the death of former players or disasters that may have happened at stadiums. "These are totally repugnant to all people with any moral responsibilty. "I thought everyone round the table had one common goal, basically to eradicate sectarianism from Scotland. "We believe Rangers have an important role to play in that but it's been recognised today that it is not just in isolation to Rangers. Many clubs across Scotland are involved with anti-social behaviour. "Their fans have a responsibility to their club so the benchmark that has been introduced is something we have been promoting for some time. "The detail will be important but in terms of the assesment for all clubs with respect to anti-social behaviour, it is something we will welcome. "There is no doubt the situation we had with Villarreal, the stick UEFA yielded, was one that made people sit up and think it could bring serious consequences for their team. "Yes, there always needs to be a big stick. "I hope those who implement the scheme recognise it is across all clubs, is basically about anti-social behaviour and there is a general assessment - not just Rangers and Celtic in the spotlight. "In the seminar it was clear this isn't just an issue for the Old Firm, it's other clubs and other parts of social responsibilty in Scotland. "If it just turns into Rangers and Celtic in the spotlight and points deductions just for the Old Firm on purely sectarian issues I would take umbrage. "But I have every faith it is about all football in Scotland." Bain was speaking after SFA chief executive David Taylor gave a presentation in Glasgow City Halls yesterday. It was part of the Scottish Executive's second Summit on Sectarianism, outlining proposals to be put in place for the start of next season. They will have to be ratified by the SFA and SPL before getting the go-ahead Included in the eight-point action plan is the ability to impose statutory fines for sectarian offences inside football grounds, deduction of points and even evictions from cup competitions, Taylor insisted football's governing body UEFA had not pressured the SFA into taking a tough stance, But he hopes it will not be too difficult to impose such sanctions in the Scottish game and make it fall in line with European club football and international footballing laws. Taylor said: "Sectarianism is a serious problem in society and Scottish football is caught up in that. "We have to be clear we need to do something about this and perhaps more than we have done in the past. "This has been done because we want to do it and our major clubs want to do it and there is a real willingness within Scottish football to get rid of sectarianism. "I am hoping never to have to impose these punishments but what we need to do as a last resort is to have some sort of sanctions if incidents happen that otherwise could have been prevented. "The SFA and SPL intend to introduce a new disciplinary offence of unacceptable behaviour within football grounds in Scotland. "It will be related to disorderly conduct and be wider than sectarianism which will fall into that remit. "We are in discussion with our colleagues at the SPL and the starting point would be the beginning of next season. "It requires changes to the constitutions of the SFA and SPL to bring is into line with our UEFA and FIFA counterparts and that would be before the start of the 2007/08 season. "Fines, deduction of points and banning from cup competitions are certainly within the UEFA and FIFA statutes and regulations and throughout world football. "We are being encouraged by both these regulatory bodies to do the same. "I myself sit on the UEFA disciplinary committee. "We stopped short last week of deducting points from a team in the UEFA Cup because of the misconduct of their supporters. We decided against it at the 11th hour. "However, we seriously considered it and that just goes to show what those bodies are prepared to do and we have to be ready to do likewise. "The SFA would still have gone ahead with these measures regardless if Rangers had not been fined by UEFA after the Villarreal match incidents. "I wholeheartedly agree with Martin Bain that this is not specifically aimed at punishing just the Old Firm. "This is aimed at behaviour in football grounds in Scotland and broader than sectarianism. "I am not saying the Old Firm will be deducted points for sectarian offences. "I am saying the SFA have to implement and put effective disciplinary sanctions in place as a back-up for any offences that may occur. ""I think the Old Firm fans will get the message." At last a response from Rangers defending our supporters although i get the feeling that Rangers will be the first and probably the only club to be given these tough penalties. It would seem to me when these things are implemented the judges only see the colour blue. We do have a sectarian problem and we must admit that but having different rules for other clubs for anti-social behaviour is also a form of sectarianism. I think Tailors last remark says it all really: ""I think the Old Firm fans will get the message." He only see's fit to mention the old firm surley football fans would have been more appropriate.
  22. I know there is a UEFA game on Thursday first to deal with but Im really looking forward to Sunday night for the game. The Hibs game was good preparation and the confidence booster we needed. The form of Ferguson is well timed as we need him at his best on Sunday. At Ibrox I always feel confident against them. I think Le Guen needs to rest a few players in the UEFA match so key players dont pick up injuries, and we have qualified anyway. We cant rest Smith unless Ian Murray is ready to step in. However Id rest Ferguson, Clement, Sionko and Prso and start with this: ______________McGregor______________ Hutton____Hemdani___Svensson___Smith N'Diaye______Rae___Buffel_____Adam ____________Sebo___Novo_________
  23. Future SUN exclusive front page headlines. NEEL LEMMON'S BUDGIE SAYS " CHEEKY BHOY " FULL STORY ! My dad " reads " the Sun, or the 2 minutes silence as he calls it. He only gets it as it is cheap shoite as opposed to the dear shoite which is the Retard. Before I take it to him I usually flick through it to see what it says about the enema. The budgie story is typical of the stuff this rag runs with a different player highlighted every day. One day it's Pearson's horse or Boruc's " innocent " gesturing, another day it's Graveson's naked wife chasing a car thief. Occasionally it talks about football and usually it's someone saying how the Thims are going to win the champions' league. The " paper " now tries to put us in a negative light by printing stories by former players bad mouthing the Club. The point I'm making is that they have an agenda promoting the name of Septic in any shape or form making them a " global Brand " This imprints their name on everyone who sees the paper whether they are football fans or not making them think that there is only one team in Scotland worth mentioning. Do we have a PR department ? I'm not saying we should lower ourselves to this level but there must be many positive stories coming out of Ibrox which can be promoted keeping our name in the news. So, Mr. Murray, C'MON.
  24. Ok,look at derbies around the world and then look at the players that have crossed over. Forget the micky mouse derbies im talking about Roma/Lazio,Boca/River,Inter/AC,Barca/Real,Gala/Fenerbache and of course the OF. With the speculation of Elvis maybe going to them it made me think that this is starting to become a trend of the modern day footballer. And i dont like it. Now we all know Judas Miller jumped to Torbett Towers ( not that i give a shit about him ) but if Elvis also went then for me it would be taking the piss just a bit too much. He came through our ranks and learnt his trade and professionalism from Goughie and others. I presume he's a Rangers boy but im not sure. Ok we sold him but we also gave him his start and full backing and this is something he shouldnt forget. Now you could argue that Mo Jo did exactly the same to them to come to us but i've never said that was right. Yes it was great cause it was 2 fingers up at them but now the shoe is firmly on the other foot. I could maybe understand it if it was Jonny foreigner but these guys ar SCOTTISH and have grown up Knowing the traditions of each club. What im trying to say is that very few players these days are loyal or have any hint of it. They are loyal to themselves and they're bank balance. At the end of the day i dont care about Miller and i dont care too much if Elvis signs for them but id welcome him to Ibrox. I'm thinking of the future, imagine the outrage if one of our young hotpropertys left us for them? Christ just recently the gutter press were linking Burkey with a move to that scum in the east end. WTF? Sure of course its the press stiring things but surely these stories shouldnt even be thinkable? Nelson Vivas was a Boca player for many a year and he eventually signed for River where he retired after just a month because of the abuse and death threats. A similar thing happend recently when a player left Galatasaray to go directly to Fenerbache. No suprise he didnt last long and he'd left club and country saying he couldnt handle the abuse. And of course we all know what happend to MJ. The great divide is the great divide for a reason, you shouldnt cross because it's just too dangerous. And if you do cross then prepare for the wrath of the fans you've just screwed. Think about it Elvis, is it really worth it??? People this ones an interesting debate so lets hear it.

    A Wee Rant

Enough To Drive You To Drink Well, the rejuvenated Rangers didnââ?¬â?¢t last long as we were back to our bad old ways at Falkirk on Sunday. Serious questions need to be asked as to what direction the club is going in, and whilst the manager and players have a responsibility in this, the buck stops with Mr Murray and surely even his staunchest supports must start to question his desire to take Rangers back to the summit of domestic football and a force to be reckoned with in Europe. What actually scares me the most is that some Rangers fans donââ?¬â?¢t realise, or wonââ?¬â?¢t admit just how far behind our bitter rivals (on and off the pitch) we actually are. At a time where they have qualified (with a game to spare) for the knock out stages of the CL, are running away with the domestic title and signing players (Graveson and Vinegar of Castlemilk) we can only dream about, we are watching what could be the worst Rangers team in over a quarter of a century, with little or no sign of improvement. If we are honest, we have been in decline for around 5-6 years, only 2 last day victories (oh how we enjoyed them right enough) saved us from facing a Craptic team going for 6-7 in a row. They have a Chairman who is actively promoting their brand image and actively pursuing new financial avenues and new prospective leagues to be involved in (this may all be pie in the sky, but the c*nt is never out of the papers blowing their trumpet). Meanwhile, we have a ââ?¬Ë?custodianââ?¬â?¢ who wonââ?¬â?¢t even defend our traditions or our fans, never mind promote the Rangers brand. I donââ?¬â?¢t think that we have ever been so negatively portrayed in the media as we are at the moment, and that is all down to David Murrayââ?¬â?¢s refusal to stand up to our enemies. Our public image is at an all time low, we are never ââ?¬Ë?talked upââ?¬â?¢ on national TV unlike the sons of Satan who have all on sundry talking them up and the likes of Rod Stewart to The Fruitellies declaring their love for ââ?¬Ë?ra hoopsââ?¬â?¢ at every opportunity. That has given them a march on the ââ?¬Ë?English marketââ?¬â?¢ and we are falling way behind them in that respect. We can not survive on ââ?¬Ë?Scottish supportââ?¬â?¢ alone and this needs to be readdressed as soon as possible. In all honesty, do you think we are an attractive proposition for people to support at the moment? IMO, the only fans we are likely to attract are those who come from a ââ?¬Ë?Rangers familyââ?¬â?¢ ââ?¬â?? yes, we need these fans, but we also need to be attractive to the ââ?¬Ë?neutralââ?¬â?¢ and we arenââ?¬â?¢t at the moment. Critical Christmas We are now approaching a critical time of the season where we will face teams that are close to us and if we are to take any positives from this season, we must come through this period (from today until New Years Day) winning ALL the games we play. We start with the visit of Hibs who are playing brilliantly at the moment and are breathing down our necks. Next up, we face Craptic at Ibrox in a game we MUST win. Then, we have trips to Abergreen and Inverness followed by a busy New Year period. If we can come out of this with 6 victories, we will have at least, cemented 2nd place in the league. However, if we drop any more points during this period, it is debateable if we will have European football to look forward to next season. Bleak Future All in all, it all adds up to a very bleak future for Rangers and us the supporters and I canââ?¬â?¢t see anything changing for the positive until David Murray sells up and ships out. He has shown that whilst we are ââ?¬Ë?up for saleââ?¬â?¢ there will be little or no investment in the squad and youth development and no effort put in to promoting Rangers FC and defending us the fans from the continual onslaught from the press, politicians and UEFA (who all clearly have an agenda). So what can we do? Very little unless we galvanise and make a concerted effort in getting Murray to act sooner rather than later. However, the demonstrations and the reactions to them from the majority of the Rangers fans shows that for some reason, David Murray has the support of the majority of the Rangers support. If this doesnââ?¬â?¢t change and change soon, we are in for a bleak(er) future which will see is fall into the shadow of our bitterest rivals. Cammy F ââ?¬â?? We Are The Peopleââ?¬Â¦.
