juffery 0 Posted August 2, 2006 Share Posted August 2, 2006 I thought it was mixed up well, long balls can work when used at the right time, and Arsenal proved last year in the EPL that pretty passing doesn't always get you where you want. I felt we could have done with more players int eh box at times, but other than that I was ecstatic witht eh type of football I saw. The biggest thing for me was the pace and movement from defence to attack - the best football I've seen was ManUtd in 1999 when they won their treble and that was how they did it - sweeping forward at pace and having players pinned into their box as they attacked from every possible angle. I wouldn't go as far as to outrght compare what we did on saturday, but it's looking like that is the idea PLG is going for. 0 Quote Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
