Would like to see Preston make it. A grand old lady of a club and seem to make the play-offs almost every year before falling short.

As for Norwich, Southampton and Charlton - just four years ago all those clubs were in the Premiership. The Championship doesn't respect reputations, the amount of big clubs it has chewed up and spat out down the years is unbelievable. The most entertaining (not to say competitive) league in Britain by a country mile. No wonder the Premiership want to take it over.

Couldnt agree more about the Championship. It goes to the wire every season and keeps a good amount of teams ticking over until the last minute.

The play-offs are brilliant aswell - every team knows what they are all about before a ball is kicked. When a country has so many clubs this is the best solution to give them all something to play for.

The amount of teams who have dropped 2 leagues from the premiership over the years is growing, with some big names in there:

QPR

Man City

Notts Forest

Sheff Wed

Bradford

Oldham

Leeds

Leicester

Southampton

Charlton

Norwich
