Rangers to win the CL or Scotland to win the WC

Recommended Posts

Cant see either happening anytime soon, well, maybe the CL in two years time under PLG. :D

Scotland getting past the group stages of a WC would be a great achievement, hell even qualifiying is as has been shown in the past!

But ill go with Rangers, we've already got past the group stages once, now lets go a few steps further, huge steps.

Scotland for the WC, a GIRUY to them down the road and their 40 year celebrations.

Rangers for the CL, so we can have a big star on our shirts like tic, except we already have the 5 league stars. :flipa:

Same as Chris. There's more chance of Rangers winning the CL than Scotland the WC an tbh, Id rather see that happen. Maybe because of the disapointment of the SFA and all the crap and managers I despised over the last 15 years but Rangers will come first. Always.

Rangers are unlikely to win the CL in the foreseeable future but it's still far more likely than Scotland winning the world cup - so I'd go for the latter, it would be a bigger achievement and the whole of Scotland and Scottish football, including Rangers, would benefit.

Think of the money we'd have to invest in grass roots and the motivation of half a million youngsters to be the next Scottish football star. The whole thing would be self perpetuating and all the SPL clubs would benefit.

I think it would resurect some of the pride in our nation which is more important than the pride of a subset of Scottish people revelling in a win that will have been mostly provided by foriegners, great although that would be.

To difficult to choose, Im sitting on the fence with this one and cant decide.

Imagine how good both would be!!

BTW I dont think winning the UEFA cup this season is beyond us and the thought of that is getting me excited!
