Celtic approach Birmingham for their new manager

Recommended Posts

I'd laugh, but I actually wish that wee ginger muppet had stayed with them because he couldn't deal with the media well & I reckon his record with them is over-flattering & was just about to go on a 2-3 year downward spiral if he'd stayed.

Can see that actually but think it would be great for us. I personally think if Aitkin came in he would do the same as Miller did to Aberdeen :D

The only 2nd man (as such) I would have is Clark at West Ham. Proven himself time an time again BUT must have had opportunities for a managers job so is maybe happier being a number 2.

Caught a bit of the RR phone in tonight and tbh I don't think I'd want them getting Clarke even though he is unproven as a manager.

I said the Biscuit tin lid was sellotaped shut for this managerial change yesterday and i'm sure i will be proven right for the whole escapade.

They are aiming way too low.

Us Rangers fans can see that because it has happened a few times to us.

I notably remember when Dick Advocaat left that i was shocked when we were being linked with the calibre of manager of Alex McLeish after having a 'grade 1'(compared with the quality of eggs lol) manager like Advocaat. We ended up with a 'Grade 4' manager like McLeish and we learned it was a money saving exercise in the years to follow.

Well, the exact same thing is happening to them here.:giruy:

Yep, agreed Jon.

I think Aitken would be shite. Why no-one has gone for Stevie Clarke as a manager in his own right before now is beyond me.

Proven himself time after time after time.
