We will never get anywhere stumbling from season to season hoping for the best. It never worked last season and we got away with it this time round. We should be looking to maintain a decent standard of football and a reasonable level of consistency throughout the season. But we dont. Yesterdays game was typical of the dross we have become accustomed to under Walter Smith in his second tenure in the managers chair. Problem is we have no reason whatsoever to expect things to change next season. It will be more of the same again im afraid going from game to game with lady luck playing as much a part as anyone else in the side. I have wanted Walter smith to leave for quite some time and unlike some others i havent changed my opinion just because we won the league. With Walter we will always be there or there abouts in our 3 domestic competitons albeit not playing great football. We had someone we thought would change that in PLG but that backfired. FGalkirk didn't necessarily play all that well but they played us off the park. That's my gripe!
