Of course King will be denying any takeover bid - he can't actually financially take part in one at the moment with his assets being frozen. However, that does not mean a bid by a consortium was not made - it just means King is not currently financially involved. Webash - you are guilty of your own accusation. NONE of us here knows 100% what is going on so why are you using a pathetic story from a crap newspaper to further your own agenda? Obviously the former would be preferrable to the latter. However, rather than seeing him as the (a) solution to our ills, I'd like to hear his plans for the club. There seem to be quite a few circling the club who have never (to the best of my knowledge) ever raised their heads above the parapet and said what kind of club they would like to see, or how they would go about achieving it. For that reason alone, I'm reluctant to express any enthusiasm for King or any of the other naes mentioned. They are very happy and content with the progress they are making as they believe , in fact they have the support of the present Chairman and management team , have you ever heard anything negative being said or directed at anyone except Lloyd's .
