Tell me about it. I've probably had more run-ins with banks than most. They can still act totally unreasonably and cost themselves money at no risk to themselves.

Edgar conceeding that Muir is not a bank employee summed him up, who does he think employs Muir, surely not the man whom Edgar claims is 99.9% irrelevant and his share holding is worthless. If it wasn't a serious issue it would be laughable.

It won't add much to this debate but I just like to say that, given the bloody awful state of our club, I think what David Edgar says or who he says it to is the very least of our concerns.

On reflection you are of course correct...Edgar never conceded Donald Muir is a bank employee.

The difference is that you seem to think it's OK for them to behave like that and I don't. Not that confusing.

 

It is ok for them to protect their own interests, because first and foremost they're a bank. They care about profit and turnover, not their customers well-being.

 

It is not ok for Donald Muir to keep everyone in the dark, but the organisation as a whole has tend to their own needs before ours.

 

As David Edgar says 'there's nothing wrong with Lloyds wanting their money back, that's fine, but Muir needs to come out publicly and state how he and they are going to do that'.

 

And that's my stance too.
