ascender 352 Posted February 19, 2010 Share Posted February 19, 2010 (edited) I think that's the key thing, during all of this restructuring/down-sizing, whatever you want to call it, we need to be able to be in the position where qualification for CL is only regarded as a "bonus" in terms of the financial injection it gives us. I can also see fans of other clubs loving the potential of further cutbacks for us or Celtic while missing the point, that if other clubs had been doing better in Europe in the first place, we'd not be losing the place. However the real secret to keeping the 2 places is down to the Europa league teams , if you look at smaler countries their Europa league results always dig them out of a hole .
