Yes it was. In 2005.

Outline planning is about as far removed from "granted permission" as you can get.

It says outline was "granted" Nov 2005, not according to the records. http://www.glasgow.gov.uk/en/Business/Planning_Development/DevelopmentControl/Sitehistorysearches/weelklylistsofplanningapplicationsfromfebruarygtodecember2005b.htm

Sorry wabash. MF said that it was unlikely Ellis would give me 'all that info'. Despite asking 4 times for him to tell me what info he was reffering to I am still none the wiser.

:D pissin in the wind indeed!

So you are insisting that Rangers didn't secure planning consent in 2005 for a major development around Ibrox Stadium, including a regional casino (and associated minor retail development), a 4/5 star hotel, conference facilities, leisure centre, and new public realm in and around the stadium and its main accesses?

Now why would I insist on anything, you have the docs, the docs do not back anything up that has been stated planning permission outline or otherwise..........unless of course you can find them.

Wabash - if you use the GCC website as your source to confirm whether or not planning consent (outline or otherwise) was indeed given, why would you then discount that same source when it shows a page confirming that outline planning permission was indeed given?

For the very good reason that the official applications and their recording are a lawful requirement, are you having difficulty in locating the alleged applications in the official and lawful register of said docs. Try sticking with the facts as they unravel, it helps towards the truth of matters. :)

I dont get how we could have applied with Manchester etc for the supercasino, if we didnt have planning permission.

Because the outline would have been more than likely verbal, and everything to be advanced if the fabled super casino became a bookies in downtown Govan, you gotta laff at what people will swallow, due dilligence my arse, it's all in the planning applications, or rather not, right here on our front door.
