I've got my rangers-tinted specs off for this game but what does Brown add to the team? Even when I have seen him play for Celtic he has been rank rotten.

 

How can a player with so much promise and talent turn into what he has?

Broon9 was shite,but Fletcher was worse IMO. The rest of the team played well I thought without getting that vital goal,the ref allowed they chunts off with murder,there must have been about 4-5 players who gave away 4-5 blatant fouls,the ref really should have been more strict,but all in all I think this result will come back to haunt us

I thought it was a shite performance if I'm being honest. The performance looked better because Lithuania were terrible! It was like Levein had no game plan for when we went forward, as if he showed them far too much respect and we were looking to just nick a goal.

 

That being said it was far better than under Burley but still nowhere near good enough. We should be looking to beat the likes of Lithuania easily. Need a good win on Tuesday or Levein will be under huge pressure.

Hutton is a bit of a twat too.

 

With Hutton we can afford to turn a bit of a blind eye as he is quality. Brown is and was rank.

Brown and Fletcher were awful tonight. Naismith did well, but he tired during the second half. Though Levein left his subs a little late aswell.

Broon was awful. I thought we played well, but really shouldve beat them, they were terrible and a bunch of dirty bastards. I know it's just the first game, but I think that's second place gone unless we beat the Czechs twice.

I'll be amazed if we qualify. I suppose Levein gets his chance but he still wasnt the right man IMO.

 

The Czech's will beat Lithuania on Tuesday and we should beat Liechtenstein but they will already have a game in hand.

 

As Juff says we will have to beat the Czech's twice or take 4 points off them.

Brown and Robson - abysmal; should have been replaced with McFadden and Dorrans on the hour mark, as we sought to change from holding/breaking to attacking. Levein left it too late, didn't use Boyd to best advantage, but I don't blame him at all as he is using this competition to build impetus for the next WC campaign.

 

He better git it right.
