There is also obviously a lot behind the scenes about Klos that we're not privy to. I think they've done a Numan on him, offered him a massively reduced wage and he's said, "No thanks, I like the contract I've got." Anti Niemi is 34 and they are not talking about him retiring. Goal keepers' performances don't suffer so much from the reduction of speed that age brings. Klos hasn't left as he's got a contract till the end of the season and stubbornly plans to see it out. That's probably the same reason why he probably won't get a game.
