I doubt very much that Calscot knows him personally though. So I'd love to know why he thinks Diouf is "a good guy"?

He only said that he was a "good guy" compared to Di Canio, Hartson and Lennon, so he's not a fascist, he doesn't kick people in the head and isn't the biggest scumbag in Scottish football. Hardly the same thing as saying he's generally a "good guy".

Diouf isn't a good guy in whatever sense you decide to take it.

He spat on a fan. Lowest of the low.

If you think that Diouf is as big a scumbag as the likes of Lennon then fair enough, but I'd disagree.

I'd also prefer to be spat on than kicked viciously in the head.....

That's fair enough but I'd much rather be kicked in the head than spat on. It might be sorer but at least you wont catch a disease like hep c.

I doubt Diuof has hep c, whereas a kick in the head from Hartson could cause permanent brain damage.

I remember the former Wigan player Arjen de Zeeiew (sp) who was spat on in a game, might actually have been doofey, and he said in an interview afterwards he'd much rather be punched in the face than spat on.

It was Diouf. So he spits on a fan x 2 and spits on a player but he's "a good guy" because he done nothing wrong up here.

People who say they'd rather be spat on than kicked/punched etc have obviously never been spat on!

He was a good guy whilst he was here. He's done bad things in the past, he done good things here. Doing bad things doesn't make you a bad guy forever.
