ANDREW LITTLE has committed himself to the champions for the foreseeable future by putting pen to paper on a one-year contract this afternoon.

The Northern Ireland international, 22, had been in negotiations last season when a hip problem sidelined him for more than half the campaign.

He chose to put talks on hold and having fought his way back to fitness, resumed discussions with the Light Blues before reaching a conclusion today.

Now the versatile youngster, who can play as a full back and a striker, is focusing on getting back to action for the first time since October.

He said on Twitter: "Just to let you all know, I've eventually signed a new contract. It all dragged on a bit but (I) signed a one-year extension this afternoon.

"(I'm) desperate to get playing again. Not going to Germany. Hopefully fully fit in two to three weeks. Being out so long makes me want it more!"

Interesting! Another 1 year contract squad filler signed up!
