Do away with the Groan/Agree/Disagree button altogether but keep the 'Thanks' button....if someone doesn't like what you put on GersNet then they should type why in a reply to you, that way the individual can disagree back.

I've seen it in other Forums, why not put it on 'record' next to the username - how many thanks they get? I'm pretty sure that would separate the clever from the imbecile.

Btw I'm not an imbecile, I just cant spell, but I do talk a lotta pish occasionally.

I voted, but I can't even remember what I voted for, it's that important to me.

I'm sure others will disagree, respectfully disagree, dislike or think I just talk shite, but there's not button for talking shite, so tough! lol

Not a very representative poll, less than 1% of members seem to care about this issue but there is a clear majority for Thanks/Agree/Disagree

Probably because, at the end of the day, it's just a couple of daft buttons.

In all honesty, I don't really care if there are appreciate buttons or not.

Without being all AOL 'Me too' about it, I agree. The appreciate and groan buttons are novel but it doesn't really matter if they're there or not.

That's why only 18 people have voted. Most people won't really give a shit about it.
